That's exactly how I see it. Solis injured his right leg not his left, yet it is clear in all the replays that it's Solis' left leg that wobbles and locks out first, causing him to fall backwards and then injure the right leg. If Vitali's punch had no effect on Solis how can anyone explain why the non injured leg wobbled and locked out causing him to fall. The punch may have seemed like a glancing blow but clearly the effect on Solis' equilibrium suggests it hurt him enough to drop him.

Solis injured his knee AFTER he was punched. The rest of what you said is bull**** until you admit that part.:bart

Oh... so Solis suddenly blew out his knee at the exact moment that Vitali punched him... which also caused Solis to be knocked down... and hurt his knee as he fell?

Don't you find it odd that Solis' LEFT leg was also turned to jello? I have blown out my right knee before in a wrestling match. Have you ever injured your right knee? You do realize that your left leg doesn't start wobbling all over the place and turn to jello when you injure your right knee... correct?

These are some pathetic excuses. Solis was hurt and dropped by Vitali's right hand. His legs were gone.... BOTH of his legs were gone. Even when he got back up and the fight was called off... BOTH of his legs were still jello.

Why are people saying that Solis was injured BEFORE the punch? Are these guys too stupid to notice the difference in Solis' movements before and after the punch landed? So... he was injured BEFORE the punch... yet after the punch landed he went down and couldn't walk again? So, why was he able to walk before the punch?

Do you guys make this **** up as you go?

Vitali punched Solis in the head knocking him down & Solis injured his leg in the fall, probably because he was trying too hard to stay up.

Solis gets up with the help of the ropes & supposedly can't continue because of the knee injury.

Since Vitali didn't kick him or headbutt him in the knee, it's ruled a TKO win.

    Simple as..........................

Excactly, the moment he was hit, he held his hands up and STAGGERED with both legs, falling uncontrollably backwards to the canvas hurting his knee in the process.

The man was going down regardless, and the best these cubans got to cling on to is that he ran for like 200 something seconds.

Absolutely not. :nono Watch the video carefully. No leg injury until after Solis is hit & he falls back. His leg kinda gets behind him, probably due to his equilibrium being knocked off kilter.

The only real question is if the knee injury is the only reason or part of the reason for him not being able to continue.

The way I saw it Solis had to pull himself up using the ropes & BOTH LEGS WERE WOBBLY meaning his head wsn't clear yet. I could be wrong on that last part but not on the original punch causing the knockdown.

It has nothing to do with disliking. I watch fights and i have my own opinion. I watch this round several times but it is obvious, Solis got punched, but not hard, he wants to go forword, he struggle, wobbled because his knee gives up and false to the canvas.

TKO win for Vitali, no doubt.

Sorry i see it the other way. Solis left leg looks strange in the middle of the round. Not very mobile. It looks - and german paper reports it - he had old knee problems.

No. If the injury is a result of a foul it is no contest.

Here it is TKO. No foul from Vitali.

    1. Why would he go up in the ring with arguably the hardest heavyweight to beat, having a bad knee? He was mandatory, so he had a right to get surgery and come back, maintaining his mandatory position.

    2. He couldn't stand on his own two feet after he got knocked down by Vitali, if he indeed had the same injury, would he be as mobile as he was? HELL NO.

The man was a mandatory, he wasn't given a shot and had to act on it, if he was injured pre-fight he could've pushed up the date.
