Eric “The Eagle” Ochieng loses unbeaten record

How much do you reckon young fighters get fighting journeymen 3/4 times a year? And its not like there's a pot of gold if they even lucky enough to get a British title shot after 4 years getting easy wins. This way they actually get to see how good they are rather than get to 12-0 and struggle to come back from likely comprehensive defeat in first real test.

 

Thank you Sid these people don't know boxing. Look at my crowd I don't bother my fighters to sell tickets cos We at Hard Knocks ram out the dance Nuff said everyone loved the night and the movement is growing x.

 

How many shows are you looking to do this year Spencer? If you dont get your boxers to sell tickets how do you get the buzz going am I right in thinking you were sold out a few weeks before the event? That is impressive?

 

i made the comment about the fact that most of the boxers on your bills are ticket sellers - it was an observaton, not a criticism.in fact it helps greatly to make your shows an enjoyable night out. qato sells hundreds, nathan always brings a crowd with him; there were plenty down from brizzell way and ochieng sold a fair few as well.

Hard Knocks is the future of boxing in this country beleive. they are keeping the small hall shows alive. hopefully one day they can make a break through and get a tv deal. all 4 fights on friday were more entertaining than mos the crap sky serve up.

 

don't think anyone could ever accuse spencer of underselling himself or lacking enthusiasm
