It it one of the best weapons. Wladimir has the best jab in boxing history since Larry Holmes, so he should use it, like he did against Chagaev. One of his best fights.

Wlad's hook will take Haye apart if Haye lays back (as will his jab and straight right). You are only used to seeing fighters backpedal and try to survive against Wlad. Which never works...but extends the fight a bit and limits Wlad's offense a little. However, Wlad's BEST performances are against fighters who bring the fight to him. Always have been. He opens up A LOT on fighters when they do this. If Haye brings his wild ****, firing off power shots.. it will be the straight right hand. Just ask Derrick Jefferson. Jefferson kept trying to leap in and attack with those huge knockout shots... Wlad timed him...

I dont think just jabbing is a good idea against someone like Haye, I honestly think Wlad needs to attack him the way he did prior to being knocked out by sanders, your the bigger man go out there and show Haye whos the heavyweight and whos not.
Jabbing only allows haye to get under it and fire with quick counters you can do alot against a jabber....

 

Haye is a counter boxer. Wlad should not attack him. He should stay behind the jab and wait for the big right hand he could land on Haye, maybe turn the jab into a left hook.

Wlad is a boxer, he should use his skills nothing else.

 

he's not going to just jab, he'll be throwing plenty rights and the hook when the chance presents. Wlad's jab is the best I've seen in boxing for weight, speed and accuracy so good luck Haye.

 

Wlad doesn't NEED to do anything. He is going to have his way against Haye. I am sure that he will start out, jabbing... getting Haye off balance and into position... and either take him out early if Haye attacks... or later if Haye sits back.

Look, Haye is a dangerous opponent. Any fighter with speed and power can win any given fight. However, the probability of Haye winning is incredibly low.

I think this is very possible, the Klitschkos are getting older, Wlad has always had a chinnk in that chin of his, Speed = power, and if Haye fights a smart fight and places his shots, Wlad could end up on the deck in this fight.
I do not think Haye would take this fight if he did not think he could win, but just becuase he may think he can win does not mean he will.
However I am just stating that I beleive that Haye is a very live under dog here in this fight. I think we will see a unification bout with Vitali vs Haye.....

 

Wlad isn't that coordinated? He has some of the best footwork in heavyweight history.... especially for a man his size. He can avoid getting hit by top ten competition for an entire fight with a jab and footwork.

 

Wlad is the best heavyweight "boxer" out there. He has all technical skills, he has the best jab. He can kill you only with jabs.

His only problem is: he is not a fighter like his bro (whose boxing skills are ok, but he is imo more fighter than boxer)

The only chance for Haye is to turn a boxing match into a war. But I doubt that Haye can do this with his weak chin :huh
