I'm not giving him much of a chance.. Basically writing it off already as a victory for Khan, but anything can happen..
How can anyone make a name for themselfs when evryone is writing him off, I've watched him from his firsts fights and im glad everyone is writing him off and under estimating him. He can punch, he is good at countering shots, good boxing skills and he works the ring well. I think he can win late on by KO if he can stay safe in the first few rounds, Im glad everyone has under estimated him because if he causes a upset it will be that little bit more special, the shots which you dont see hurt that little bit more and Paul seems to find some cute angles. ... I give him 30%, McCloskey lacks the speed/power to trade with Khan, and Khan usually excels against counterpunchers thanks to his amazing natural athleticism. The only way McCloskey wins this fight is by catching Khan with a punch he doesn't see coming, or hurting him early and making Khan fight too cautious so he drops a decision. Neither which have much chance of happening in my opinion.
Might not have the speed but who has against Khan he shows most boxers up. Certainly has the power to cause a KO for sure... Paul McCloskey certainly isnt no Domitry Salita, do you give him more than a round?
Im hoping this is a Paul McCloskey night, Khan is due a bashing... Take Madanna for instance the only time he was really hurt was from the bodyshot and Madanna made Khan work all night with average boxing skills. I would say Khan is a little over average with his power, but his speed makes up for it..
Well in all fairness Maidana applied some good pressure, and he hits like a ****ing bulldozer. I agree with this though, Khan's a sharp, fast puncher... but hardly a knockout artist.
Im probably being biased because I cant stand Khan. I shouldnt let my hate get in the way of my judgement. I dont like how team Khan have treated this as a tune up fight for Bradley but that is the reality of it, and thats why i want Khan to get his feathers ruffled up... :good
i dont think mccloskey has much of a chance, he keeps his hands too low and he got buzzed by colin lynes if i remember right, so i'll be surprised if he holds up to a lot of punishment. it's too much of a step up for him i think, he might be a southpaw but khans been sparring a lot with pac so i dont think thats a problem. khan by tko within 6 i think
Paul's low hands vs Khan fast long hands is a big no no, let you guys do the maths. This is a decent home fight, one i will be ringside with good seats, hope it lasts more than a few rounds, as Khan is going to show Paul a new meaning to hand speed.
