I'd rather see Floyd-Marquez II at 147 and I'm not even joking.

A guy with a record of 45-0 appears to be a beast to the casual fan. They can sell this fight. It's sad, but true.

And this isn't a tune up preparation fight for Manny, Mayweather will gain nothing in term of preparation for the fight. It's simply a handy little pay day. The JMM tune up is a 10x tougher fight than Spadafora. Lol @ the suckers going to fork out for it if it does happen.

Hopefully May and Pac will agree to terms for November before this fight to justify it as a tune-up. No way this fight would generate enough money for Mayweather's 20MM plus demand per fight, so there will have to be some sort of guarantee for the Pac fight for this to get approved at HBO.

Anyway, I'm happy that Mayweather will be coming back and fighting again.

Spaddy needs to get about 5 fights in before he even thinks about stepping up to an A level fighter.

Even if Floyd is been inactive, he's always in shape and training.

Spaddy should be trying to fight a couple cans, then Paulie Malinaggi, then M. Hatton then Devon Alexander.

If he can win those fights, he can get in with Floyd.

I want to see floyd back in the ring but even as a tune up this fight would be a joke.

He'll be taking this fight knowing full well he has no hope of winning. It's a pay day for him, nothing more.

I agree I can't see HBO allowing floyd to fight such a guy on ppv without a guarantee that his next fight is gonna be a big one with or without pac.

Whatever, I'd rather this than nothing. He's coming back to take out the little man so I'm willing to live with a bull**** fight as long as we get the big one. :bbb
