    Thus far, i think you and i are the only ones who 'get' the whole point of this thread. Heavyweights do not not throw the best punches simply because they are strong.

    I've never been a big fan of Heavyweights, personally. No Heavyweight I've ever heard of through a straight better than Alexis Arguello.

    Same. I'm not a fan of heavyweight boxing at all. The technique Arguello exhibits when he throws that straight right is beautiful.

    Just because many of my favorite fighters are HW's.

    I thought about using some others.

    Here is an alternate list from the MW/SMW:

    Jab- Marvin Hagler
    Straight- Arthur Abraham
    Hook- Sugar Ray Robinson
    Overhand- James Kirkland
    Uppercut- Lucian Bute. That punch is working wonders for him lately.
    Other- Roy Jones Jr. Bolo Punch
    Combinations- Roy Jones Jr. Great balance and execution.
