man those are some cool shorts duran's wearing. leonard in all black is a pretty good contrast too. they really got all the details right for the rematch. shame about duran being such a heartless quitter.

Dude, you can't be serious? I was being sarcastic. Duran was in great shape for the rematch. It's there for everyone to see. Maybe Ray poisoned him?

Don't you mean he was waiting for his son to binge drink while hiding in wait at the top of the stairs, to jump out and bolo punching his son to his death while lifting his hands aloft claiming his greatness. The sly tricky evil evil man

Just my thoughts, cannot say it is correct, but that is what I think.

Who was it that snuck laxatives into Duran's water bottle? Hearns or Leonard II?

Leonard. Duran was partying ahead of the Hearns fight...and there's a suspicion that maybe The Hitman loaded his gloves.

If Duran would have said something like this, you guys would be saying it to this day. Anything he said people believed. Most fighters would love to have the excuses Duran had when he lost and for people to believe them. These excuses always came after a loss to a great, which is interesting. I do think Duran is ATG, but not as high as you guys think. The wins against the greats is not there for a 1-5 ranking like I have stated over and over. Duran gets great points for charisma and machismo, which should not be a factor. Wins against greats should be the criteria.

Yeah, but you have to take into account how many events Duran won in his career? Leonard II. Hearns. Hagler. Benitez? He practically invented event winning.

Hearns used laxatives, Leonard used cake, Hagler used ketamin, Kirkland Laing used date ****, Camacho, Joppy, Gonzalez, Castro, Pazienza, Lawler and Sims used training, De Jesus used hypnosis and Benitez laced his gloves with bear mace.

So you could pretend these fights dont exist and argue that Duran actually never lost a fight.

duran's not in the company of robinson, armstrong etc. the majority on the forum know this! there's no need to be a broken record!
