Heard someone talking about it the other day- that he got dropped by Paul Fleming. Did anyone else here this- Is this true?
One of these rumors comes out for just about every fight that comes along - just part of the usual lead-up really.
sorry i heard he got knocked down during sparring. dropped by a featherweight. Has he got a glass jaw? is this going to effect future fights for him?
Victor Oganov made a career out of KOing people and Garth caught some of Victor's bombs on the jaw and managed to stay up. Chances are he has a very good jaw.
yeah i think its bullsht. Fleming wasnt able to stop Shaw yet he can stop a bigger stronger Woods? I dont doubt they have him sparring Fleming but i think its just a rumor and would not be true, Garth has a pretty strong jaw as shown against Oganov, i doubt Flemming hits as hard as Oganov.
It could be fact. Some times guys are sparring a few different partners in one session, different weights, i've seen plenty of spars where the lighter guy dominates. Sparring is sparring-fighting is fighting.
