I'd be lying as a joyboy if I said I didn't care about this fight. I want Floyd to whoop emmanuel's AZZ so everyone can shut up.

I really want to see what the American media, who happens to be backing emmanuel over an American, does after that American beats up "their" glorified fighter.

    Not really.

There are plenty of other great fighters in World Boxing that can make for compelling match-ups.

The importance the mainstream has put on this fight can get ridiculous though. I remember hearing that this fight will "save" boxing, and boxing "needs" this fight. What they were trying to say was never clear to me. Casual fans would just watch this fight and then go back to whatever the **** they were doing. It's not like everyone will suddenly know and follow the Tim Bradleys of boxing.

It depends who you're asking with.
For the joyboys, it doesn't matter,
"0" is better than losing it.

    Yes,
Sure there other great match up that have and will be made since there has been serious talk of a Mayweather/Pacquiao fight. None of them nwould have been the event that Mayweather/Pacquiao would have been. I say would have not will be because I don't think theis is going to happen. It ended when Pacquiao decided he did not want to do random testing. From what I understand they agreed on almost everything from the get go. Mayweather also agreed to a large penaly if he came in over weight. While the PED testing would be for both boxers I'm not sure that Pacquiao would have faced a fine if he came in overweight. The other reason I don't think this will ever happen is May 7th 2011. Unless Shane Mosley has gotten old. I don't think he has Mayweather and Mora are bad stylistict match ups for Mosley Pacquiao is not.
No match up in boxing would have been bigger. This would have been the match up that everyone even non boxing fans would pay to see. They'd talk about it before and after. Boxing might have gained some new fans from this fight.
Not to mention the impact on the All time great rankings.

Of course, but I'm sick of waiting for it, with all of Mayweather's ****ing posturing and bull**** stopping it from happening. Wish that **** would just come out and say he is retired and the only fights he'll be having will be on twitter. Boxing has to move on from this frustrating episode.
