If Randy Shields was able to go beyond 4 rounds against Hearns, Pacquiao's movement would be sufficient too. However, he wont go beyond 8-9 rounds in his best shape. Hearns too much speed, skill, size, power. I say Hearns TKO 7/8.

As someone else said, Thomas Hearns beats EVERY fighter from 147 to 175 who is actively fighting today. I would pick Hearns over every fighter except Robinson at welter with Leonard always being a 50/50 fight, every fighter of relevance in the history of 154 and a guy like Hopkins at Middleweight.

What exactly is the point of this thread again? It's obviously not a serious question and although Hearns and Pac are comparable in an ATG ranking sense they are not close H2H. Just look at what Hearns did to short guys like Cuevas and Duran to see how this ends; two iron chinned HOFers who both fell in two. I would say Pac lasts a bit longer but not past 6.

Yeah Hearns could out box Manny easily and he can slug it out with him and Manny can be hit by right hands easily and did you see the right that dropped Duran.
    KO within 6 rounds

Pac is an atg but Hearns beats him at WW of course

Hearns would even beat Henry Armstrong.

If Pacquiao doesn't have a chance vs a prime Hearns at ww then no it proved he isn't an all time great.
