As has been mentioned in another and im sure a few of you have heard the rumours like me in the last few days. Sky have once again rejected Carl Froch and his potential FOTY candidate match up agaisnt Glen Johnson as they have to many other big fights on PPV coming up.

Its an absolute disgrace. Adam Smith pretty much promised boxing fans Sky would show Carl Frochs next fight in some capacity.

Let Adam Smith and the goons at Sky know how you feel when they spend all there money flying round the US in first class but don't secure the big fights we MUST see.

Action needs to be taken over this.

Didn't Smith say he'd get Froch on Sky?

The next 3/4 months could be a reality check for Sky and their boxing coverage.

They're gonna attempt to sell seperate £15 ppvs for each of these bills:

    Khan v McCloskey
    Degale v Groves / Cleverly v Braehmer
    Haye v Klitschko
    Khan v Bradley

Now, I don't know about the rest of you guys but there's no way I'm gonna be forking out £60 just for these. I love boxing and don't think I'm a tight person as such but I know what's value for money and what ain't.

The first two pay per views will massively flop and will be lucky to get 100k plus for either. Then it'll hit them harder when they hype Haye v Klitschko through the roof only to find they've lost a few viewers from all their recent ppv farces.

Obviously as for Carl Froch.. they didn't want to risk putting him on between to bump the ppv costs up to £75. And they haven't been willing to put him on a normal sky channel for years. It really is ridiculous.

What I don't get is they gave Khan a PPV date before he even got an opponent. Khan/McCloskey is PPV worthy, Clev/Braehmer with Groves/DeGale is PPV worthy yet Froch/Johnson isn't? Get the **** out with that ****.

so annoying, how can carl not be on sky! he's fought better competition consistantly than anyone else in the sport over the last two years. He should be making massive amounts and be getting great coverage, why he's chosen to stay with hennesey is beyond me.

why not have a ppv season ticket with so many coming up.

    5 PPV's for £50 and include Froch!

To be honest im absolutely staggered and very angry with them indeed.

They actually show quite a lot of shite to be fair, fights that arnt essential and yet a truly important fight comes up and Sky NEVER seem to show them.

Im losing serious patience with them now. An unacceptable number of really important fights or noteworthy are being ignored.

And if Sky arnt showing it, then they act like it isnt happeneng at all! They dont even DISCUSS that its happening! Its a ****ing **** take.

Maybe if they didnt waste all their ****ing budget on extravagent contracts for garbage like Haye, and Khan fights that arnt PPV worthy, and on swanning around on trips round the USA...then they'd be able to put some ****ing decent boxing.

David Haye PPV= CRAP. Khan PPV=CRAP. Its a joke

Rejected? By who? You say rumours but you've been wrong in the past so I'll wait and see if a source can confirm this.

I'm sure I'll get blasted for this and I'm pretty frustrated with Sky again in the last few months but in their defence, I'm sure if they could get the Froch fight at a price to show on regular Sky Sports they would. They don't want to add another PPV which is understandable. The big losers are obviously the Froch camp but they need to take a short term hit for long term gain. Easier said than done

what a Joke! total joke! they have up to 9 presenters on some saturday night broadcasts but simply refuse to broadcast one of the most the most exciting fan friendly boxing heros to emerge from these shores! Boxing Needs cross over superstars to survive.

my brother had huge british stars like benn, bruno and eubank to kick start his love affair with boxing, I had Naz then Calzaghe and Ricky.

Who the **** has my nine year old lad got? its pretty basic stuff

    Talent>Coverage>Superstars=New Fans

In Carl Froch we have the talent in spades but with no air time and no column inches and no air time then the 13 year old lad won't give a **** and will plum for the glossy UFC this kind of **** is killing boxing

    Rob's not bulshitting here.

Whilst not official it seems quite likely Sky won't show Froch/Johnson cos they'd rather show **** like Khan/McCloskey :hey
