    I did not see it....

However per capita gdp of argentina is 8663
gdp of ukraine is 3003 per capita

I've seen parts of ukraine, and they are pretty depressing....

So are ukrainians not "white" because they are poor?

Some spaniards are olive complected and look Latino... If i saw a Penolope Cruz look alike id assume she was Latina... Banderas looks half.... Pau Gasol looks 100% white... Martinez looks like a huero(light) Latino.

 No im not saying that, im just correcting your other post when you mentioned Argentina not being poor. Im sure your right overall they are better off than many countrys but Martinez neighborhood looke a hell of alot worst than the worst ghettos or Barrios in the US. Kind of looked third world.

The problem is the term Latino and the term White....

    I think they are outdated.....

Why aren't indigenous south western americans considered "Latino"? Why are they called Native americans? Because of an imaginary line? Or because they speak a different language?

You have an ethnically european spanish person in texas called white
You have an ethnically european spanish person in mexico called latino

The only difference is an imaginary line :patsch and language

I think its stupid to classify half a billion people all belonging to different countries and ancestors as "latino"

Don't be an idiot, Anarci. You are much too bright and well respected for this.

Latino doesn't refer to known white. Spaniards in the New World were once called Ladinos. Does that make them now white?

Tell you what: take my bet. We'll have Rummy ask Sergio about his heritage and if he considers himself white.

IF I am wrong, I'll stay off the board for three months. If you are wrong, you have to include in your avatar something to the effect that I was right and you were wrong.

    Deal?

Haha! Nice thread!! Can Pacquiao be the next canadian white hope??! Martinez or Pacquiao could be blue for all I know and the only hope I would have is for them to keep their skin color as long as they keep entertaining me with impressive performance. Thinking of it a blue Martinez could be even more fun to watch. He would be very marketable and could also star in Avatar.

Either you are deliberately being a *****, or you're starting to display some real racially tinged overtones here, Anarci.

What part of this don't you get? The man himself said he is not a mestizo and he's not of Amer-Indian blood.

Yet, you persist in this nonsense.

We can settle this quite easily. Take my bet. I am callling you out. We'll have Rummy ask him in his next interview.

Yeah, because morons in this country believe that Spanish speakers cannot be white. :-(

I'll say it one more time, dude: Spanish is a white man's tongue. The original Spanish speakers, therefore, were white.

If Sergio was born in Spain, we wouldn't even be having this discussion. You're holding on to some absurd construct that, because he was born in Argentina (a nation made up of European immigrants) and speaks Spanish, he cannot be white.

Take the bet or shut up.

In Anarci's case, he'd call them both "Latino" because, evidently, there's no such thing as a Spanish speaking white person. :patsch

  11. White people root for any race? No white people only root for hispanics or asians, They dont even have enough balls to root for their own white race.
