Liston definitely hit harder, no doubt. In terms of pure power i'm not sure about Dempsey and Louis hitting harder.

    Johnson did not.

I politely disagree. Frazier is a slow starter, and it would cost him against Tyson. Unlike Oscar Bonavena and Mike Bruce, Tyson would finish him. I think Joe would last a bit longer than his son, but he still gets KO'd, especially when he gets caught with that uppercut and combinations from Iron Mike.

I feel Tyson has Fraziers number to be honest

So it seems there arent too many many that could stand and trade with a Peak Tyson.

Peak Foreman And Sonny Liston seem to be the only 2.

    Honestly guys.

There has never been a fighter who "nobody except two fighters in the history of the divsion" could trade with.

The best fighters are only human.

  6. holyfield would stand and trade with prime tyson and prevail imo

Basically, Oozaru Tyson is incredibly formidable. With a power level of 950,000. Oozaru Foreman is about 730,000.

The only fighters able to trade with this monster, would be the SSJ's. The only HW's who turned SSJ are Ali, Frazier and Douglas .

SSJ1 Douglas may have hit 800,000 in that form, but he was up against the standard 240,000 Tyson that night. Despite a peak SSJ Ali having a power level of 1,950,000, styles still make fights, and Ali isnt trading successfully with Tyson.

So the only guy left to trade with Oozaru Tyson, is SSJ1 Frazier. But becoming an SSJ is an extremely rare and situational thing. Could he do it gainst Tyson? I think that maybe Ali alone was Frazier's SSJ trigger.

Anyone is a slow starter if Ali is the baromter. I think Joe's body attack and head movement would be too much for Mike. If Foreman couldn't keep Frazier on the mat, how Mike gonna do that?

  9. Nobody could keep Frazier on the mat. If Frazier was fighting today at his age of course he would lose but he would still get up. Frazier had to much balls, Tyson on the other hand never got up from a knock down and win.

exactly. the No.1 most overrated fighter on these boards. People write more about what they want Tyson to be than what he is. He was heartless in the 90's and they fail to see that if he had been challenged in the 80's he would have folded his tents also, only earlier. Louis was great and would have intimidated Tyson and EASILY timed Tyson's bobbing style that had the exact same moves (like a rote dance) and knocked his heartless ass out. Tyson was not the great puncher. He stopped mediocre guys. The era after Holmes was the era of the fat lazy heavy and Tyson cleaned up the after careers of a sorry lot. Louis knocked guys OUT w/ one or two punches. Tyson stopped guys after hitting them dozens of times. Both his power and career are way overrated and are enhanced by the hero worship of the nuthugging fans of his that really don't understand or have studdied deeply the sport. They WANT Tyson to be this brave, great Saad-like warrior who plows thru punishment to win, but it never happened. At the first sign of adversity, he quit. And those fighters the guy says ran and hugged to survive; Tsyon had no idea of how to break down an opponant like Louis, Dempsey and Marciano did and thus if he didn't get the early Ko. they ALL survived. Face it folks-the Tyson of your and Mike himself's dreams is not the Tyson of reallity.

Are you saying that those are the only two that could stand toe to toe, and win?
because there are fighters that have done that in Tysons career. but they havent won

The reality of any fighter/sportsman is less than their myth.

There are a lot of inaccuracies in your post. Joe Louis was a spectacular combination puncher, if anything he was a guy that hit guys in bunches to put them away, Mike proved that he had one punch power over the course of his career and i would confidently say that he was a bigger hitter than Joe.

Also who the hell timed Tyson's head movement when he was on song? Let alone easily, it was very fluid and hardly what i would call predictable.

Louis, Dempsey and Marciano all had times in their careers where they looked far from stellar, you can pick anyone to pieces if you care to.

Nobody is unbeatable and Mike was no exception, but i think you have gone slightly too far the other way with your criticism's.

That is true but in Mikes defense he had a very good chin and it took prolonged thumpings to put him there. Lewis,Holyfield,Douglas threw everything and the kitchen sink at Iron Mike before they could put him down... Fraizer had more mental strength and will to keep plugging, but he was more easily hurt and often nailed clean... Tyson was naturally bigger,Faster and hit harder.. Oh and most important prime Mike had superior defense... Would be great while it lasted but Tyson is all wrong for Fraizer.... Tyson was like Fraizer on steroids P Tyson ate big bombs from huge punchers like Ruddock,Bruno and Bonecrusher withouht going down.
