    Stupid topic.

Of course Hearns would win. So would Leonard. A prime Oscar, Trinidad, Forrest, Mayorga, Margarito ... they all would have given Manny hell. Ten years ago, there was plenty of talent ~5'11". He would probably never have gone up to Welterweight, if the division hadn't sized down significantly. Neither would Mayweather, for that matter.

As I usually say at this point: Roy Jones Jr. did challenge John Ruiz for the HW belt. He didn't challenge Lennox Lewis. Because he isn't that stupid.

Its more likely that mannys head falls off from a one two than him winning imo

yeah well, everyone thought it was ridiculous when someone said 'how would Pac do against De La Hoya, or Hatton, or Margarito' a couple of years ago.

Just look at the old threads.

Even though Tommy had an awesome punch, he was as chinny as Roy Jones. If Hearns didn't score a KO in the first 5 rounds, Pac would wear him down and get the UD or even TKO.

How can you compare the versions of DLH, Hatton and Margarito that Pacquiao fought against a prime Hearns?

    I mean seriously...

Hearns was a monster and at 147...that's his best weight. PAC wouldn't get embarrassed in my opinion but he would lose...Simply b/c Hearns has all the qualities that are a nightmare for PAC. Fast, long, strong and BIG.. Plus hearns can box a little. Hearns by late stoppage.

I rate Pac very high and he is a close to top 10 atg... He started at fly and Hearns started at Welter so dont talk like this is an even fight since there at the same weight.. Worse matchup you can think of for Pac.... To be honest i doubt Pac could beat Paul Williams..... Pac would be lucky to make it past 4 rounds even if he came with the best possible fight plan... But id still rank Pac higher on an PFP ATG list... Hearns top 25 or 20 at best... Pac closing in on my top 10
