I'm a bigger fan of Froch than I am of Khan, but if you think the above you are deluded.

    Froch - Kessler/Abraham... Yeah.

Froch - Glen Johnston - No. Your casual sports fan is going to think "hang on.. isn't this the 40+ year old guy who 5 years ago lost to clinton woods on ITV?"
It doesn't really inspire much in their minds

No i dont think froch-johnson is great i just dont think khan-mcloskey is a good fight either in reality neither should be PPV,im sick of khan being PPV no matter who he fights.PPV should be kept for big fights or stacked cards IMO.

As has been said pay froch put it on normal and build it up for a froch-ward PPV.

Well, if you look back at the process of how the bout came about you will realise SKY by no means just said "Amir you have a PPV date on April 16th. Turn up with an opponent. Thanks". They themselves were involved in the opponent selection to ensure they felt it was worthwhile.

Mccloskey meets the parameters because of the Irish element.

Isn't great in terms of boxing, but in terms of what is marketable and sellable then it's fine.

True i see the selling angle i just dont think the quality justifies a PPV probably be the 1st time i havent bought one but there is a few coming up in a short space. im just pissed SKY aren't showing Froch now after his run of fights he deserves to be on something better than Primetime.

    Carl's Twitter:

If this turns out to be all false and Froch does end up on Sky, then don't be surprised if you get some serious backlash for this. I really wish I didn't believe it now.

In terms of importance, yeah sure, of course it is, but does it bring close to the money Khan/McCloskey will?

    I'm pretty sure it wouldn't.

why would we get backlash if froch does end up on sky. surely it would just mean we helped?

frochs comment is in response to the messages people in this forum have sent him.

    Rob.. your title...

Frochy wouldn't have said that if his fight was already rejected, and he's not the type to stay quiet.

He's not going to confirm it's dead as long as there is a possibility something could be agreed.
