Seriously what do they watch during the fight.

I know sometimes fights can look a lot different ringside then on TV, but when your own corner tells you that you have to win the round, as the fight is close and then the judges give it to you by 8 points...its just a joke. no wonder ppl are fed up with boxing.

I think what hurt Gairy was that he would only trade for say 30 seconds of the round, and when he did trade he looked really good..but then would just showboat and dance.

I would have given it just to St Clair, maybe 2 rounds.

    Waters looked very ordinary tonight.

Dont think St Clair will do anything campaigning at Jnr.Middle, tonight it was just Waters style ( pressure fighter who constantly comes forward) , play perfectly into his plans and style of fighting.

St Clair has now lost most times he has stepped up in last 3 yrs. Losses to Dib, Kickett, Khan, Waters...maybe time to give it away

The ring girls scored big every round last night. They were simply outstanding. I think St Clair's short spurts of fighting let him down as Waters did sweet **** all but he was the hometown boy and he probably had won 5 rds on the scorecards before the bout even started.

The judges is all one eyed and i will say the fight could go either way. This was close but some of these judges like to over react. Maybe the goodlooking ring GIRLS fault make them heads blank.

yes the result was an embarrassment to nsw boxing.

the referee was pathetic too. waters must have hit gairy at least 40 times clean in the back of the head and all intentional. there were more that were accidental. except for probably one lame warning of which he gave to both and not just waters as gairy never did it.

and the referee would say break and have his hand on each guy and be pushing them back and waters would be throwing shots smack bang in full view of the ref and there was not one warning.

gairy wouldn't have won if he ko'd waters.

St Clair has never fought Dib. Maybe your confusing it with the St Clair vs. Zappavigna fight in early 2009.

i was thinking the same thing Gairy kept telling the ref but he did nothing about it just about every clinch he got hit in the back of the head and one time in the middle of the back, scores were a disgrace I have no problems with Waters getting a close points decision but 119 is ridiculous

he could have been disqualified in round 2, yet was able to do it for the whole 12 rounds ffs and the ref didn't care.

    pathetic refereeing

yeh sorry guys, i was trying to recall his last few fights, but it was Zappa he fought, not Dib. I remember it being on a Grange main event show and i think Dib was on the card too maybe thats why i thought of him.
