    It was like two or three of the left hand leads he'd already been landing more cleanly for several rounds, sort of pushed through Gutierrez's guard as he backed into the ropes. Then Jhonson threw a quick volley of mostly body shots and the referee just dove in.

    Jhonson is def my fav up and coming Cuban fighter. Next fight, I got Lara by KO in between 4-6.

    Oh yeah, that "really really poor version" part you were spot-on about.

    Wright is a hundred times better then Gutierrez, and would probably beat him even now. :yep

    Still, it's a shame Gutierrez doesn't have any better handspeed/footwork/arsenal. He's a very incomplete puzzle, but the pieces that are there are kinda nice..

    He landed a nice right hook to the jaw, that's when the ref jumped in, it's like he expected Gutierrez to be more hurt by it than he actually was. IDK, shitty stoppage yeah, but I think he gets stopped the next round or so anyhow so I'm not broken up.

    BTW did anyone ever find out what Vitali yelled at Solis in that clip?

    So true, he makes for fun fights too. It's a nice reminder of how good you have to be to make it to the championship level in this sport, you can have a ton of skill like Gutierrez and still get smoked.
