Can't say, look at rigondeaux; arguably the best amateur but not that great so far as a pro

They gave him just £10000 ( $ 16000 ) of wich I asume the cuban goverment took its cut .! What a waste of talent ! Imagine a fighter of Rigondeaux level but unable ( or unwilling ) to demostrate his boxing skills in the pros, he was in my opinion a notch above Rigo , he was a complete boxer, ! he even defeated Trinidad twice ! All those years of sacrifice and achievements for 10 grand. ! Unbelieveble ! Peace .

Incredible. But Khan was 17 and gave him a pretty decent fight.

Sorry Stev, but Kindelan was much better than Hurtado but never fought as a pro, that is what DH has over him still he didn't live to his potential he could has done much more, just like MK.

Well..........he's as good as he is, but not as good as he was, but not really as good as he is, but could be better if and only if he is as good as he really is when fight time comes, but the clock is slow, so he might not be as good as he is, but could be as good as he was, though he can't prove it yet, however, Void claims he is on roids, so that ends that.

Yeah , you're right , Kindelan was a much better boxer than Hurtado but he was unwilling to fight in the pros , that's why I said Hurtado ended up being the better boxer , he didn't reached his full potential but at least he won a title. I'm sure that if Kindelan had gone pro he would have become a LEGEND, but he didn't and at the end of the day that's what counts. He retired as an Amateur. It is like in Baseball : ¿ Who was a better short-stop : German Mesa or Ordoñez ? We all know that German Mesa was the best but when the History of Cuban baseball is rewriten Ordoñez's name should be above the magician Mesa by the simple reason that he proved himself ( and made records ) at the biggest stage there is : Major League Baseball. Peace .

Don't worry about Farmboxer , this guy must be among the 3 more annoying assholes in ESB . The others are Rico Spadafora and Antzu , soon , when I have the time , I will make a list of the most unknowledgeables "boxing fans" ( in my opinion ) on ESB . Peace .

¿ Why not ? It is already beign mentioned in Cuba for many years now . Even Mesa knows of Ordoñez feats in the Big Leagues . When I said " Rewritten " I meant Rewritten IN FREEDOM . Peace .
