When all is said and done, who will be the better fighter, historically.

Froch has still got a bit to do IMO. Chances are, Abraham is his Lacy moment. A win over a guy that proved to be severely lacking. It's not like he won a classic against an opponent that gave a lot to the fight, he outclassed a guy that got shown up as having no clue about boxing.

Lost to Kessler, scraped by Dirrell, scraped by Taylor. His main win is still Pascal. It's more the competition and attitude of Froch that is impressive overall, to catch Hatton he at least needs a dominant win over Johnson and then a win over Ward would definitely surpass him.

Froch's CV has more depth but doesn't have a win as good as Kostya (didn't wanna try spelling the last name :yep). But a win against Ward would be as good and would take him way past Hatton imo.

It's still up for grabs. Froch needs a Kostya moment as has been said already.

I'm not sure if Ward is that guy, yes he's talented but is he as proven as Kostya?

Nope, but on the other hand he's in his prime so that could never be doubted.

Theres also the idea that Ward is a pretty bad look for Froch being so athletic and defensively sound. Whereas Vince Phillips did a job on Kostya with pressure.

Surpass. Froch is in a stacked division. I think he'll fight Bute after the super 6 too. Also, his resume will be STACKED.

    It's Froch's to lose really.

KO wins over all his domestic contenders (hint hint :hey) and four wins over genuine world class fighters.

Not sure Hatton has too many more than that, certainly not prime ones.

Beat Johnson, beat Ward and then Pascal again and it's his.

Dirrell was a lucky win, as was Taylor, he could have lost those two!
Plus a loss to a past his best Kessler.

Hattons only losses are against atgs

Froch without question. Fought (and beat - Kessler aside) the best his division had to offer

Not taking anything away from Hatton but his best victory was against a shot Tszyu who didn't have the speed of foot or reflexes he was renowned for. I couldn't see Hatton beating the Tszyu that beat Miguel Angel Gonzalez or even when he beat Ben Tackie. He was so sharp back then.

IT wasnt luck he showed guts and determination and brought it back.

MY view on the dirrell fight has always been that there is a good case for Dirrell winning but you shouldnt be able to take a champs belt by running. the benefit always goes to the champ thats just the way it is.

However i agree 100% if your only loses are to pacquaio and mayweather you aint doing too badly in my books.

Its looking like it will be Froch.Hatton it seems will be remembered mostly for the 2 KO losses.I dont agree with that but it seems it is how its going to be.I cant see Froch ever getting knocked out like that.
