Last time Spadafora beat a top 10 fighter was 02... surely this fight CAN'T happen!

    For the world p4p#2 to fight a guy that hasn't beaten a consensus top 10 ranked opponent for almost NINE YEARS is surely unprecedented in the sport of boxing...

    I refuse to believe this fight is a legitimate possibility. This is even worse than the Floyd vs Matthew Hatton rumours.

    Do you guys think this is actually possible?


    This would be cataclysmic!!!!! :yikes

    This fight would be the equivalent of Joe Mesi coming back to fight Wlad.

    Its a ridiculous fight and its ridiculous even the Mayweathers to be thinking about making this fight.

    As long as it really is a tune up fight and Mayweather fights a big name after I have no problem with it.

    I have the feeling he'll fleece the fans and **** off into obscurity afterwards though, hope I'm wrong.

    This is Floyd we are talking about, anything is possible with him.

    He will probably try to sell this fight to the casual fans based on Spaddy's undefeated record and some meaningless sparring session that happened ten years ago, he will make it look like Spaddy actually has a chance.

    After Spaddy he retires again and pulls the same **** in two years time against another no hopper.

    Shut up you *****. Soooo transparent. You're trying to shift the blame from Floyd for fighting a complete joke of a fight onto his critics. Ridiculous.

    The only person to blame if this farce of a fight was to happen is Floyd. It's nothing to do with biting his critics in the ass - in fact all it does it give the critics further justification to mock him, because it's an atrocious fight.

    Nah Mayweather would make $20 million, that's more than enough to finance his gambling habit and lawsuits for 6 months.

    Doubt it will happen but if it does then I`ll treat it with the same attitude I have for any Floyd or Pac fight that does not involve vs each other.... a kick in the balls yet again to boxing fans & a complete lack of interest.
