Weak punch? He's no Timurziev but he can hit. He stunned Cammarelle. Stamina we'll see. He's has as good of a pro style as you can ask for coming out of the amateurs.

Glazkov has proven his chin and has a pro style, Price and Wilder have proven theirs can be cracked in the amateurs.

I think, we will see Bakthov-Kretschmann III tonight. Glatzkhovs Footwork is bad. He is not fast enough to fight a pressure fighter like Bakthov.

I'm not such a cultural guy... It's the movie 'suckerpunch' so I'm fine in that regard.
I will try to follow the rbr on my smartphone as far as possible.
I'm on my way now, so enjoy the fight IB

IB, will we be on the receiving end of one of your great RBR threads for the Pirog fight?

I disagree with the footwork comment and please don't compare Glazkov to that no heart German.

Yeah Lomachenko is staying amateur until after the 2012 Olympics. He'll only be 24 so lots of time for a pro career.

    Fight 1

Felix Diaz vs. Andrey Berdyshev - undefeated welterweights representing the Dominican Republic and Russia, respectively.

    Round 1

Diaz is moving around the ring in wide circles to his left. Berdy is consistently attacking his body but has very poor footing and punch technique. Berdy is the aggressor, and Diaz is slipping punches on the outside and landing a few counters, looking slick.

    10-9 Diaz

    Round 2

Berdyshev is throwing lots of combos, mostly two shots together, clapping away at either side of Diaz. When Diaz tries to stay in the pocket and trade with him it gets sloppy with their arms clunking together and neither looking good. When Diaz drops a level and starts rolling his upper body and slipping punches while taking short steps off to the side, he makes Berdyshev look foolish. Diaz begins to realize he's doing the better work outside the pocket so he starts to get a jab going, and switches back and forth between orthodox and southpaw. Berdyshev is loading up on big overhand rights and left hooks but not really getting close to the target. Diaz clinches and pushes off, then keeps swatting with his right jab.

    20-18 Diaz

    Round 3

Berdyshev comes forward pawing his left jab, as Diaz glides backward. Berdyshev is forcing the issue and Diaz stops to trade with him, leading to some pretty fierce exchanges. Diaz looks the faster and harder puncher, but Berdyshev is the more aggressive and more willing to throw in combination. Diaz keeps boxing off the backfoot landing straight counters while using brilliant upper body movement. BEAUTIFUL left cross counter drops Berdyshev for half of a count. Berdyshev gets right back to work but Diaz smacks him in the mouth with the same punch and the referee waves it off.

    Felix Diaz TKO3 Andrey Berdyshev

The Russian Michael Buffer clone does NOT look happy about having to announce the foreigner as the winner.
