    No robbery tonight. :D

I thought Bakhtov toughed out a couple more rounds than that, but Glazkov definitely won.

He might have been knocked out in a 10 round fight, though.

Unless Bakhtov keeled over first. :yep

Glazkov had only fought 4 rounders before.

Good luck to Pirog and hopefully he'll get the big fights he deserves after this one.

Either way, probably. Both are power punchers.

Pirog has an awkward style and so does Maciel. Put two awkward styles together - especially with power punchers - and it can lead to unseen punches and big knockouts.

Neither has ever been legitimately stopped, though (obviously Pirog is undefeated; and Maciel's "TKO" loss should actually be a technical decision loss...and even that reportedly would have been a robbery).

He fights a bit like mayweather, still a slick russian is pretty awesome.

That isn't really a good excuse for gassing so badly, though. He knew he was anticipating a step-up and had time to train himself for the full eight rounds.

Bakhtov certainly did have an experience advantage in having fought for longer durations, though. It nearly allowed him to win, but he just didn't have enough offensive sharpness to get the KO in the 8th. (seemed close a few times..)

Is Pirog the next fight? He better KO Maciel before the 9th, I put some money on it...

those odds were really low werent they? Pirog was 1.06 to win and 1.33 via ko. under 10.5 was 1.33.

It's either the next fight, or there's one more before it.

Ali Rahimov vs. Rustam Nagaev for the WBO Asian 135lb title. :conf

    Both are 21-0. (Rahimov 12 KO's, Nagaev 11).

    An "0" must go!!

Not exactly like Mayweather, but definitely in his stance that's the best western comparison.
