Of course I want floyd to fight better comp but the truth is, I don't view him as a current fighter anymore.

He came back and beat marquez and mosley, everyone hoped he'd then fight pac, cotto, martinez or someone worthy. Instead we get another year out and a stupid mismatch comeback.

I don't care about floyd anymore. There are better more current guys around. Him and pac both **** me off with their attitude.

Normally yes... but Im soooo past the point of absolute disgust by the fact that FMJ & Pac have not fought yet that I have just about zero respect for either guy, they have embarassed the sport for the past 2 yrs & to me unless they fight each other THIS YEAR I have no interest in them whatsoever, none at all, thay have pissed me off so much.

As for the amswer to your thread title - I agree, its a joke of a fight, it should not be sanctioned & if Floyd is really trying to make it happen it should be boycotted... as should Pac-Mosely but not to the same extent as Mosely is way more credible than Spadofora.

Ps. Boxing fans getting behind ANY fight involving Pac or Floyd unless vs each other is only giving them the ammunition they need to continue avoiding each other & milking the sport while making it a laughing stock at the same time by fighting guys that have very very little chance against them.

Fair enough man. I just don't see this issue as being equal culpability at all. To me it's just so blindingly clear and obvious that Floyd doesn't want the fight, considering all his drug-test/vacation/Arum/money demand bull****. In the mean-time, I'm going to enjoy Pac-Mosley much like I enjoyed Pac-Margo, because I'd rather have the p4p#1 active than have him on a vacation because someone won't fight him.

Trends show that Floyd has only fought guys with a name ever since he gained superstar status by whooping Oscar's AZZ. His love for cash isn't going away soon. This doesn't look like a fight he would take.

I don't see the problem if he feels he needs a tuneup. What I don't want to see is a tuneup against Spadafora. Fight Cotto, Berto, or Ortiz at the least.
