Comparing Pac-Clottey to Floyd-Spadafora is one of the most hideously

things I've ever heard on here.

In the past EIGHT YEARS, Joshua Clottey has made

    quit, outpointed

In the past EIGHT YEARS, Paul Spadafora has got a draw that most people think he didn't deserve against

    Absolutely, completely

IMO, this fight isn't going to happen. Spadafora won't bring in the kind of money that FMJ wants.

Baldomir wasn't in the past 8 years, he dragged Corrales up 2 divisions to fight him and the ref stopped the Judah fight.

    Not a bad effort.

Didn't Margarito have the greatest compubox stats recorded in any fight after beating Clottey?

You're right about the Baldomir fight actually. For some reason I thought that was much more recent.

Anyway, the ref didn't stop the Judah fight, Judah did a Devon Alexander and faked his way out of it.

And did you see the Clottey-Margo fight? Clottey was performing extremely well til he got injured.

The upshot is, Clottey in 2010 is an incomparable choice of opponent to Paul Spadafora in 2011. You'd have to be a raving lunatic to disagree with that.

you wonder why he would want a warm up?

My opinion is that neither fighter wants each other the way true immortals of boxing should, I dont see it as a 1 way street but thats for a different (pointless ?) discussion & as you say, at least 1 of them is active... I just wish his promoter would allow him to stay INACTIVE long enough to give this fight another solid shot, I feel it CAN be made if not for that fat *******.
