Having repeatedly watched back the Casey/Rigo fight I have been impressed with how Casey tried to move and how he got himself off the ropes and away from Rigo when he followed up from the first body shot. While there can be no denying it was a oneside beat down and still believe there has been huge improvements from Casey. He did very little wrong and even under such a ferocious onslaught was very close to surviving the round, and I think surviving the first 4 rounds was key.

It's nice to try and be nice about our own lads but Casey got banjoed around the place. He wasn't close to surviving the first round. He got smashed around the place from the first bell. If he had made it he'd have gotten banjoed within 60 seconds of the start of the next round.

He has improved and he is a tough lad but it's clutching at straws to be trying to take positives from that fight. Rigo beat him up. He didn't get away from Rigo for more than 2 seconds before shots started landing. It wasn't some slick boxing keeping at range either. It was running away from ferocious power.

I'm all for being positive but lets not fool ourselves either. Casey needs to go back to EBU level and learn the game a bit more. Become a solid EBU campaigner and go from there. I actually think not getting a fight for the EBU belt anytime soon is a good thing for him.

In fairness that was the first time Dolphil have staged a show of such proportion. If you think how far they've come in a years time they are a real success story. Also, there are certain things that are out of or very hard to control such as some travellers with absolutely no respect whatsoever. In saying that they could sure handle the follow up feedback better but i'm sure they will learn from the experience and make improvements in the future. Can't be easy to put on such a big show, dealing with the financial burdens and then having them messers thrown in. I was there and I know this has been said before, and I don't paint everyone with the same brush but some of the travellers there were a disgrace to the human race. No respect

Regarding Dolphil and not trying to reply to your questions it is bad form. For any business to do what they have done is unprofessional. In a recession that we are in money is tight and if Dolphil put on another show with the way the handled this it could well loose them a customer. For any business customers are key but if they not too bothered to answer your questions there is nothing you can do apart from boycot there shows.

hope Perez gets his act together and comes in light for prizefighter. A heavyweight as small as him needs to maximise his assets. Could be a big opportunity. Impressive performance could land him a contract with a Brit or German promoter. Them lads need to sign up with someone that can give em exposure cos they wasted as they are

Are you serious? When Casey got hurt and went on the back foot, in my opinion, he looked very novicey! It's not his game to go backwards and it definitely showed. He looked very stiff and rigid. You have to give Willy respect tho because I truly believe he would fight anyone in the world but his team should never have took that fight in a million years. Deep down did they really believe he would win? I don't think you can take anything positive from this at all

As a result of the increase is ratings they got they have offered me a quarter of an hour slot every month just to talk about Irish boxing and I have accepted the offer.

I thought you came across very well in your inaugural appearance and as you said yourself in the programme, a video or radio etc is more accessible than a page and a half of text:good
