@ this video from the choice of club and women to the choice of clips. Not most flattering on Paul's defence seems to get clipped in a fair few. Sure there better footage of ''Dudey''. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UcisnC0VlHA[/ame]
dont think many will dispute that but we can live in hope the likes of the ****s that give out about irish fans we only support our own ...national pride and all that like the soccer and rugby and cricket(when we beat the england) WE KNOW THE PROs that been fightin for titles lately havent had much chance but hope that they can get the result and mccloskey has the best chance of the 3 from the start but anyway even still weve the best crop of young amatuer boxers comin through in western europe at least so we should be dominatin the brits soon in pro boxin:hi: im here all night:rasta
Khan is very close to a huge huge opportunity. He just needs to get through this camp and fight without injuring himself in some way.. then IF he beats Bradley, he just needs Mayweather Vs Pac negotations to fail ( which it has every time so far ) and then he gets the super fight of his life, because one of the two will take him on if he wants it. It's all on that Bradley bout.
Yes he would... but he would be paid very, very well for the pleasure. It's a massive IF whether he will get past Bradley (and of course McCloskey) first though.
This is going to be the dilema he'll face. Does he take the opportunity at the end of 2011, for a fight against either of the two megastars.. or does he determine he's not ready, and quite likely never get the chance again. In my opinion, it's going to require him to put on the performance of a lifetime just to get past Bradley, he'll lose to both of those two without question. But... it still would be an absolutely huge event.
Step by step first Paul then Bradley, Khan needs to beat him he stands in Khan's way to super fights at 147, Bradley is the gateway. And if people think Floyd would walk though Khan then your mistaken big time, you think Floyd can keep taking huge time off from boxing fight some bum for a tune up and then if Khan vs Mayweather is made and Khan will be there to make up the numbers. No every fighter can be beaten, every fighter has flaws and with age not on Floyd's side forever 2012 Floyd will be 35yrs, Khan will only improve while Floyd will only decline at this stage. Khan's style, hand speed, Jab, work rate, movement will give Floyd problems. I think Khan's offense and speed will put a naturally a defensive fighter on the back foot and in his shell. We know on the back foot Khan has discomfort but going forward he is at his best and make no mistake Floyd will back off and look for counters and pot shots, if Roach can help Khan to go in land and move off without getting countered too much, Khan can win rounds off workrate and aggression. Zab showed us Floyd has problems with handspeed, Khan is faster and and won't gas like Zab, and hopefully after beating Bradley Khan will be reaching his prime and will have great hunger of a live young champion. Many won't agree with me but I don't care, speed when mastered is the greatest weapon in boxing, master Roach is refining that every day.
I like your enthusiasm, Darni. But Mayweather doesn't really make things that easy for his opponents. And I honestly don't see Mayweather slowing down any time soon. He's got the fundamentals of boxing down to perfection (almost); therefore a slight physical decline won't be affecting him like it would others. But yes, it would be incredible if Khan could make it a competitive fight against him.
You know boxing is a very unforgiving sport, you can get/look old in the ring overnight, Floyd's whole game is built around reaction reflex timing positioning, well a young fastest fighter in the world will sure test that reaction time, Khan can shock his defence system. If Floyd thinks he can party and take long lay off and it won't have any affect, look at it this way if Shane was a few years younger maybe Floyd would not made it out of that 2nd round who knows.
Floyd's not all about reflexes. As his physical attributes have slowly declined, his experience of those things you mention - timing and positioning - have made up for it. He doesn't even exert himself when he's defending off attacks. He stands there comfortably in his protective shell, letting his opponents do all the work, whilst he picks them off. This is what he'll do against Khan - who isn't as offensively dynamic as one needs to be to penetrate Floyd. And Floyd's lay-offs aren't that bad. He doesn't drink, and he's a gym rat that stays in shape all year round.
Thats something Khan's hand speed will put to a REAL TEST, love to see his defence /shoulder roll deal with that.
There is an absolute belter (i can't believe the word I used in the first place came up as *****'s) of a mural gone up in Dungiven. I have it on my phone but no idea how to post it on here. sorry guys (any advice would be appreciated)
What is it? A picture/video? If it's a Picture, then there's a small square symbol with a small mountain and a sun on it. Click on that and then insert the URL of the pic. If it's a link, there's like a chain link, click on that and insert the URL. Hope that helps.
khans handspeed would be negated by floyd precise sharp laser like shots, how does khan handle with a guy who lands 40+ percent of his shots each fight?
