The Cuban fighters are running into opponents that don't compliment their athletic amateur styles. They're ad******g to the elite-level of the pro game, and will come back stronger. Their promoters know that their marketability depends on their excitement, and that they are capable of providing it with the skills and abilities they have. Just look at Rigondeaux after getting booed against Cordoba- first round KO.

Gamboa looked alright against Salido, but I bet he impresses tonight.

Following suit, I hope Lara will also learn from the draw and realize his future is at stake.

I agree. I look forward to seeing him in the future. Last night was good for him and not Lara, even if he didn't win.

    Freddy wak dont bother man.

Chavez Jr will get hate no matter what he does. He is hated because he is son of legend. Chavez does everthing wrong according esb.

Lara has not looked anything special at any of his Fights and yet they labelling him as next big thing. fuken Priceless.

He is fuken KO waiting to happen and that wont take long.

Lara was getting some **** in quite a few threads last night. I even posted in one or two of them. Although people were judging his lackluster erformance but no one really argued with the fact that the fight ended in a draw.

Ed Paredes and Alexis Camacho were also considered prospects and Molina beat them, Danny Perez is a solid vet that Molina easily beat. His losses were either real early in his career or very close decisions. These managers with prospects beware Molina isnt no steppingstone..

When you're a Chavez, you're held to a much higher standard.........

......and dont forget Freddy, alot of kids in this forum still remember their Dad's cursing at the TV screen when Julio Cesar Chavez, the legend himself had just gotten through dismantling their favorite.
......that hate is now being carried over to root against the son of the legend!:deal:yep

Funny enough, not being able to stay sober is what ulitmately pushed the pace that led Chavez' and alot of other great fighters onto their demise.

Sorry to here you had to see your drunk Dad cry over a boxing match Doc.;)

It's only natural for JCC junior to get some flak, he's the son of a great and is moved along with the speed of a drugged snail.
