I've only watched his fights against Pac and Barrera, but those are his legacy fights, though. And in those he did commit numerous technical errors, so I certainly wouldn't call him a technician.

But he was certainly fun to watch. If I said anything else, I apologize. He gave it his all and loved to battle, and that makes for great entertainment. Even when he had the fight in the bag in the first fight against Pac, he slugged it out in the last round when others had been content to run and waste time. Risky thing to do against a puncher like Pac, but I supposse Morales pride would have it no other way. You just have to love fighters like that.

    Please, Addie.

He is a **** when things are not going his way in the ring, he hit Morales low several times in fight 2 & pushed him to the floor after the ref clearly said break... he also hit Pacquiao after the ref said break & it wasnt just a tap, it had Pac`s legs doing a Zab Judah... he hit Marquez while he was on the ground & before he did it you could see him pause as if he knows he shouldnt but he followed thru.

What did all those fights have in common ?.... Barrera wasnt winning at the time !

Im glad Morales is appreciated these days as a warrior but he should get more props for his skills.... you should check out his other fights vs good fighters, this one in particular showed his technical ability (its just highlights otherwise its unlikely you`d have time to watch it now)....

Even in those highlights several of Morales' most common flaws were on display. Especially being open when punching, having a lack of balance when attacking, sticking his chin out too much and showing too little head movement. He also displays some lovely skills (which he undoubtedly had), though. Especially on the inside. His uppercut counters are really nice.

Not really though. He and Hearns were at similar weights for almost a decade and a fight certainly could have been made with Leonard in the late 80's. Hagler had already retired when he made the step up to MW, though. If he wanted a big fight that bad, I'm a bit surprised that he didn't step up and challenge Hagler earlier.

Yes, he takes chances defensively, maybe too much but he has TREMENDOUS balance I`d say... which enables him to do these things & not just vs bums, vs elite p4p fighters.

McCallum was mad because when he was the mandatory for Duran's 154 lb. belt, Steward negotiated a bout for Hearns to fight Duran. McCallum left the Kronk after that, and ended up getting Duran's vacant belt. I'm not really sure why a bout with Hearns and McCallum at 154 never materialized. That would've been a great matchup.

Maybe Steward preferred for McCrory to get that fight.

I think McCallum hoping to fight Leonard in the late 80's would've been a bit deluded. When you make a comeback, a tough, unheralded fighter like McCallum is not what you're looking for.

Hearns was there, but didn't regularly fight at 154 during his campaign to win 4 world titles. It was certainly a missed opportunity. The Kronk-McCallum feud would've made it even more intriguing a match-up.

It was actually Duran that McCallum came the closest to fighting as his mandatory challenger.

McCallum and Hearns could very well have fought at 160 had things not went wrong against Barkley and co.

Would have been just as interesting as a 154 fight i reckon.

Vitali Klitschko for the most part seems like a decent guy. I haven't heard any bad stories about him outside the ring. Apparently he and his brother do good charity work that saves lives in Africa. But his style is just so damn ugly to watch.

Sugar Ray Leonard was a wife-beater, and known by more than a few people to be two-faced and phony. But a hell of a fighter. I love watching him finish off opponents.

Mike Tyson has done his share of disgusting acts, but he's still my favorite fighter of all-time. How can you not love watching him throw uppercuts? Beautiful brutality is the way I describe watching him as a fighter. Watching him throw combinations is an absolute joy.

I like Carl Froch he is just frustrating to watch and has awful fundamentals at times.

**** that, I love watching Froch. How come you don't like watching Froch? He's so much fun. I think he's great fun. Taylor was such a fun fight. What did you think of him versus Abraham in terms of boxing skill?

He is just horrible. I mean he thinks he is better than he is with the low left and the lunging uppercuts, it is just so sloppy. It makes my eyes bleed.

I enjoyed the Taylor fight as I am a Taylor fan and he looked great in it till the ending.

Against Abraham he boxed who he can but he very rarely does that does he? That is what is frustrating, he can use that jab, he can maintain his range, he can stay away from a brawl.
