Miguel NO FEAR Cartagena is circling left and slapping away with rights and lefts on his toes. Gonzalez (wearing those MMA trunks with the eyes on the butt) just watches and spins around as Cartagena circles him. Not a lot clean landing. Here's a combo from Gonzalez. Cartagena was busier.

Round 2

Cartagena is still very busy, but hasn't found the accuracy yet. Gonzalez is catching him and whacking the bod. They are stiff-arming each other a bit and told to keep it clean. Cartagena slaps with a right upstairs and Gonzalez counters with one to the body. Cartagena backing Gonzalez up, landing punches but not very cleanly. Gonzalez circles very evasively. Gonzalez not engaging at all.

Round 3

Cartagena is jabbing at range now, no longer getting wild with the power punches but still pressing. Gonzalez counters with very sporadic right hands, not landing well. Poorly timed and aimed. Cartagena lands a quick combo and his corner yells to keep on the body. He does just that and Gonzalez appears bothered.

Round 4

Gonzalez rips out right hooks, laying in wait for Cartagena. Gonzalez is getting hit, though - not keeping sharp on defense. Cartagena is coming in just slapping and scoring. Gonzalez seems to actually punch a bit sharper when he puts his mind to it but his mind wanders for two minutes and thirty-odd seconds per round. Cartagena comes forward slinging. Gonzalez does nothing but block. Gonzalez eats a right hand, then ducks a few more punches and...does not respond. Gonzalez has barely broken a sweat. Cartagena just keeps slapping and winning. 1-2 from Gonzalez, there we go. Now a pair of right hooks. Hard right cross by Cartagena just at the bell.

Close-ish round, still a shutout for NO FEAR

 

Think of Diaz-Kennedy as the "main event" of the non-televised undercard.
