So yes, Collins probably was the best of the bunch, in a way...as talented as Calzaghe was.

 

Nice clip, thanks. The only part I found a bit odd was when Collins seemed to say Benn came over to the u.s. and won the title against the guy Collins wanted to fight, then took it back to the uk, leaving Collins hanging around for a title shot for a few years. Maybe it came out wrong.

 

It sounds a better story like that

Y'know, how Benn won & lost the wbo title in the 1990, whilst Collins got a title shot in 1990 himself, & again in '92 (wba). Collins said he had to wait until he was 31. He must have been refering to the wbo title, with it being at times an easier target.

 

It was more geared toward public perception than serious boxing chat, with Collins it seems that way
