I think Gamboa would get off some beautiful counters against the wild swinging Naz and probably score one or two knock downs but not hurt him. He'd be tagged by Naz sooner or later though. I can't see him Gamboa smothering Naz in the way Barrera did, Gamboa is much to open. I don't see Gamboa being able to negate Naz's power in the same way that Barrera did.

The Prince was overrated with no heart, the first time he faced an elite fighter and smallest than him, he got schooled then he retired, the only reason Barrera didn't KO that a$$ was because he Naz was bigger, facing a guy same size, faster and arguably more powerful than him that my friends spell disaster for the Prince, but we never know.

Finally put in my own vote, I think Gamboa stops Naz. Too fast and strong and with his great technique he can pull it off, but no doubt Naz has a great chance to take this and it would be an extremely fun match.

It will not b fun, Naz never had any technique and he was going by with his punch, in any fight he would always had the proverbial puncher chance, other than that he didn't have anything else.

    Question for you.

    Gamboa v Juan Manuel Marquez
    Gamboa v Eric Morales
    Gamboa v Marco Antonio Barrera

All guys in their prime. Who do you have?

Marquez by KO. Lets not get carried away here. Marquez is an all time great not Gamboa (yet).

Morales by KO. Moralez had a great chin and was just a true warrior.

Barrera by SD. i think this would be Gamboas best shot as Barreras power isn't anything special but his tenacity and ability to take a punch probably helps him too a split decision. think this would be the best fight of the three.

How did hamed not have heart, he had a good chin and the balls to get up and come back stronger when knocked down. Sure he retired when he lost to Barrera, but that dosent mean he had no heart. Ive got hamed by ko, cant imagine gamboa taking his power.

I'll favor Marquez over Gamboa, the other two will b a toss up, Gamboa is bigger than those two guys and way faster, Marquez is a different kind of beast.

He got discouraged against Barrera, he was a bully and like any other bully he got scared when some one didn't show any fear or respect, and then he retired in his prime, Barrera took the balls and the heart from Naz.

Another question for you, all in their prime
Napoles vs Marquez 135-140 ( After all Napoles was a natural 135-140 pounder, the only reason he move up in weight was to get a chance at a Belt)
Luis M. Rodriguez vs Pacquio 147 lbs
    Ultiminio Ramos vs Barrera FW
    Kid Chocolate vs Morales FW

Morales would be the worst style match up for Yuriokis if you ask me. Although JMM would also give him hell, i can see Gamboa drop him in the early rounds.

Gamboa vs Barrera would be the best match up of the 3 IMO.

A stiff breeze will knock JMM over, the problem is he gets back up better than anyone.

Other than gamboa and Rigondeaux, marquez is my favor, Barrera was too, Morales I never had any love for him he treat my boy Barrera with no respect.
Barrera looks the better match up but he was tricky, Morales was more come forward kind of guy and he is smallest than Gamboa.
