The only person in the whole World claiming Solis was drained is you, his Camp hasn't say anything Solis didn't say anything, he praised Gamboa the only negative thing he said about Gamboa was the rabbit punches, so when he fought Pacquio a few years back he was drained too? Common man he fights at those two weights 126-130 is not like he come down from 154 like Cotto to fight at 143-144, Gamboa was better I though he will give a better showing but Gamboa was too much for him.

He is excusing Solis, for some reason he maybe a Pacquios fan and got upset because Solis said that Gamboa hit harder than Pac, who knows.

Both dudes hit the canvas at least once in this match up but at the end im going to have to say Gamboa takes it by late TKO.

So at least it was relatively even. A starving person against a starving person. No offense

HA!!!! What an immature rebutal. Of course a starving Solis who just got knocked out by someone would say that person hits harder than by someone who knocked him out years ago. Get real.

Uh, his sloppy combos, the fact that he throws his hook so wild he loses balance, his right hand is garbage a lot of times cause he has nothing behind it a portion of the time and when he throws his flurries he stands straight up. Prime for a straight left. And if he can't get somebody out of there quick, he starts wandering around the ring trying to figure out wat to do. Do u think he's actually gonna get away with that against an upper tire fighter?

You are really uncomfortable with logic. These are things a fighter must take into account because this is a science as much as a sport. Gamboa being a countrymen of yours has clearly made ur judgment biased. Well I will add insult to injury. I have seen Gamboa up close in a gym working pads and bag. Even up close, it's obvious he is still stuck fighting like an amatuer and that will be his undoing.

okay im sorry i just had to point this out first, wtf is a tire fighter?? are we talking about boxing or disgruntled firestone employees? second, his right hand is garbage?? have you ever even watched any of his fights?his right hand if anything is his money punch dumbass. its what had mtgawa wobbling all over the ring and its what hurt solis the most. third, sloppy combos? are we even talking about the same gamboa? he has some of the most efficient head/body attacks in boxing today. and finally, wasn't solis an upper er..um, TIER fighter? weren't alot of people claiming that solis would be the first man to beat gamboa because of his experience and gamboas flaws? seriously man just leave, if you wanna make even a semi-descent argument don't come across as such a blatant butthurt hater

I'm actually very impressed with Gams recent performance. And I'm usually hard on the kid. Not b/c he's not an extreme talent and incredible athlete...he most certainly is....but I saw a lot of flaws in Gam that seemed to be too inbeded in his style to change. Of course Solis is NOT an ELITE fighter but he's very solid. And the way he dominated was a HUGE surprise to me. I thought the experience of Jorge and the questionable chin of Gam would see an upset.

Gamboa is looking like he's on his way to solidify the hype that has surronded him since his defection. Whether he can beat Lopez is a big question. I think Lopez is a better boxer but gamboa has a lot more natural gifts and ability. Toss up fight but after last night I'm actually leaning towards Gam catching Lopez with one of those blinding fast hooks at some point....but I see Lopez timing Gam coming in wild and ending things.... It's a fight that everyone wants to see and there's no easy way to predict this outcome.

You answerd your first question genius with the bold print. His right hand is not his money punch, his left hook is. The one he nearly falls down throwing. His right hand turns to **** when he throws combos in close. And if you think being off balance when your throwing flurries is your idea of effecient combinations, then you must have learned to box on one foot.

People keep forgetting that Solis lost to Cruz not long ago.. Solis is out of his prime, but not saying he would have won then if he was..
