I'll keep it short and easy for you Ty:

20a87 started this discussion by claiming Mundine had achieved more than Joe Bugner!

You are the one suggesting people must answer questions put to them - what's YOUR view of who achieved more??

You mean stop posting in them like you have Mister 'I haven't posted in a pro-Mundine thread for 6 months'.

Who created this childish pro-Mundine thread less than 6 months ago and still can't stop posting in it?

That would be you Mr Mundine Fan-boy.

You posted pro-Mundine propaganda in this forum for about 3 years - day after day!

No wonder you've recently made ridiculous claims like:

    'I don't remember what I posted 26 weeks ago'

    'I haven't posted in a pro-Mundine thread for 6 months'

You were embarrassed at the childish fan-boy stuff you'd written - and who could blame you?

Who do you think has more posts in this thread...you or me :think

I would rather spend time being a fan of a fighter than spending so much wasted time being a hater of a fighter :nut

Have and will always post in whatever threads I choose mate - so counting posts will prove nothing to me.

What I don't do though is go around doing making childish and plainly incorrect claims like:

    'I don't remember what I posted 26 weeks ago'

    'I haven't posted in a pro-Mundine thread for 6 months'

If you want to go counting posts, count all the Mundine propaganda posts you've made over the past 3 years - that'll keep you busy for the rest of the month!

    Great!

But I don't go around claiming I haven't posted in a pro-Mundine thread for 6 months like you!

...and just how many Mundine propaganda posts have you made over the past 3 years Fan-boy? Give us all a laugh when you finish counting.

    :happy:happy:happy

Your suggesting that Bugner has achived more simply because he went the distance with Ali? (all be it at the END of Ali's career) or have you based that conclusion on Bugner winning the WBF title?

In terms of Titles Mundine has achived more, if you cant see that then id suggest you look up Bugners record and have a look at the titles he has won and the weight they hold, then look at the ones Mundine has won and the weight they hold and come to a conclusion, its not rocket science:nut

Bugner won the WBF, Australian title, Commonwealth title, EBU title, PABA title, fought once for the WBA and WBC title against ALI.

Mundine won, the Australian title in his 5th pro fight after having only a hand full of amateur fights. 6th pro fight he wins the PABA title, 9th fight he wins the IBF pan pacific title against Soliman, he then looses against Otkee for the IBF title in his 11th fight, Otkee was undefeated, he then wins the PABA title, then the WBA Pan African super middleweight title, he then eventually fights Antwun Echols for the vacant WBA World super middleweight title (The WBA Super Middleweight Title was vacated when Sven Ottke was upgraded to "Super" champion status), lost it against Siaca, tried to get it back from Kessler and went on to woop a cocky rednecked Danny Green infront of the entire Nation, the biggest boxing event this country has witnessed since Fenech Nelson II. This was a WBA title eliminator, Mundine went on to win the WBA title again against Soliman, Mundine succesfully defends the title 4 times before droping down to Middleweight to fight Shannon Taylor for the vacant WBA International middleweight title, he then gives the IBO a crack (not sure why) and fights Geale for it and wins, Mundine really never steps back up after this win and goes on a diet of tomato cans only to come undone when he faced Woods.

idk my personal opnion is Mundines achived far more and i bet his bank account can prove it :hi::lol:

Bugner is known around the globe for carving a legacy during the most competitive era in heavyweight history when there were many, many more fighters than today and there were only the two titles up for grabs - WBC & WBA. Bugner suffered losses because he took on all comers, including all-time greats like Ali & Frazier.

Mundine has spend most of his time in Australia padding out his career fighting lowly ranked local fighters and imported Argie taxi-drivers. Sure he's picked up some tainted titles along the way, but these days every second person who pulls on a glove has a collection of alphabet belts.

Ask anyone with any knowledge of boxing history whatsoever to compare these two and they'll laugh like hell, and then tell you it's Bugner by the length of the straight mate!
