    I did post that video.........

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WZr6MZDBPZI&feature=player_embedded[/ame]

....and Pac did say he'd take the test, just not the day of the fight......

......wait a minute, then he said, "not 14 days from the fight.......

.....wait a minute, then he said, "a 24 day window was fine."

"alot of Floyd reason" you know?

Yeah it's easy to look back in hindsight now and say that Hatton would never have beaten Pac, but not for one second did i ever see anyone doing that to him and in only 2 rounds. Like you say it could/should've been a more competitive fight. Manny done his job well, has did Floyd when he fought Ricky.

He was a great fighter, underrated now by people, just imagine he had lived the life between fights too

Also lost to Floyd at 147 where he looked like **** against Collazo and was well in decline by the time he fought Pac.

His prime at 140 was definitely a good 4-5 years prior to then, i dont even think its a gimme that Pac beats Hatton on his best day.

A good fighter with heart and toughness. He did maul, wrestle, and grab a bit too much but he captured the minds of his countrymen and impassioned many fans. He created an exciting and good buildup to Floyd-Hatton, I think. Not an ATG but a good 140 pound champion (And a two division champ, although he barely scrapped by in his fight against Collazo). He has a fair EVT record, as well, although he's not undefeated in events.

As I said in the original post, he lost to Floyd because Floyd was better than him, simple as. In the Pac fight, you could tell he'd thrown any gameplan out the window. He could have done better. Probably still have been knocked out later in the fight, but 2 rounds? He was better than that, even against Manny. That's not excuse making, it's fact. And your points about Hatton's other 'big' wins being past it, sure you're right. But you could easily say the same about Margarito and Oscar for Manny, and Mosley and Marquez for Floyd. A win is a win at the end of the day.

It took a long time though, and it is still begrudging in some quarters.

It's Lewis' own fault. He was ktfo by one C+ heavyweight and stopped by another C+ one while he was still on the go.

Yep. But on this forum you're either an ATG or just "limited". We have a very strange ratings system.

ATG, limited, or total bum. Give ESB some slack, there are three tiers.
