Who got injured? Just watched the last half of the dogs/scum game. Anasta would do well to cOnvert the energy he uses when he has a spas attack to the refs and instead use it on the actual game. Good win by the dogs. The ref gave the scum a few piggy backs in the 2nd but they just weren't good enough. Anyway, souths winning and the toilets getting flushed = good weekend :deal

Just watching the eels v Souths Game. Damn Parra got 2 awful decisions against them in the first 5 mins. 2 good tries knocked off!!!
At the moment Kearney has the Parra team afraid to PLAY. On the weekend at one stage, a huge gap opened up on the right hand side defence of Souths, Luke Burt almost looked afraid to run through it in case he got in trouble from the coach. So he hesitated, then runs through it, has support that he would normally offload the ball to, but they've been told not to pass the ball so he doesn't. They need to reboot their footy brains cause something has gone wrong. Eels and Warriors have looked the most lacklustre so far. It's a long season however and anything can happen. I think South's will miss the eight. It's the only thing I'm sure of this season.
in 09 parra were playing this same brand of safety first football and slowly watched the life flow out of their season. halfway through the year they say "well **** it well throw it around a bit and see what happens" next thing you know theyre annihilating teams and end up in the grand final. so what do they then do? get rid of their only creative spark in the forwards mateo. one of their most creative backs in inu. offload tahu (needed) and replace them with showpony walker, drug cheat and known trouble magnet reni, notoriously lazy and inconsistent webb as well as honest but really just bread and butter players whatuira and hicks?? i understand all of these guys were fine players....half a decade ago. on top of that they say "hey heres an idea..how bout we just play safety first football again!" :huh whos running the show at parra??
Parra should have never got rid of Anderson. Parra+ Anderson was a very good fit. Kearney?! Maybe too much too soon for this novice coach.
