That boxing match was years ago he's probably better today as a boxer as he could have added to his skill set. Until we see him box again we just don't know. He's not gonna be a world beater but could notch up a few decent wins with good dedication to a single discipline and training.

for an MMA fighter he is ranked #1 P4P i think but that may be wrong cuz i got that info some time ago and i dont follow MMA that closely.

tho i heard he got freddie roach so i suppose he has a punchers chance of winning

He looked good, actually. Defensively, he was only vulnerable when he was showboating. His reflexes otherwise looked exceptional. Offensively, I thought he worked well behind his rangy jab and punished his opponent to the body when he got on the inside. He definitely has better boxing skills than any other MMA fighter that I've seen - and probably could have been a solid pro for boxing standards had he committed himself to the sport as a youngster.

Actually it isnt that true. Depens on the distance. A boxer on the same level as he could but him down easy. If it goes to the ground then yeah, hes done.

In a straight up fight anything goes. So if you get someone in a choke hold and he gouges your eyes out and rips your nutz off, did you win?

he never actually called him out, they have trained togetrher and agreed to fight in boxing some day as they got along good and silva has upmost respect for jones and vice versa, btw that fight was a long time ago and silva's boxing now is a lot different, jones is shot and after lebedev knocks him out if anderson catches roy which he will it will prob be lights out

I'd be worrying more about Anderson's kicks than his chokes.

Anderson isn't destined for boxing but show some respect when he's inside the octagon.
