Too early. Gamboa best win is over a past prime Jorge Solis, a fighter Hamed himself would have brutally defeated and early.

    Give it time...

Probably Gamboa... he gets hit with a Hamed rocket and its over.

Nobody had power like Prince Naseem at 126

Arguello? The guy was still scoring one punch knockouts at 140lbs.

Prince by KO. Gamboa has one of the baddest P4P Defense of all time.

I still favour Lopez over Gamboa at this point.

I'd favour Hamed to catch Gamboa big at some point over 12 rounds, his defense is too leaky...and this is the same reason why I believe Lopez will beat him.

Now I realise why everyone claims Hamed is overrated on this forum.

Seriously, the highlighted statements are complete rubbish...and I'm a massive Hamed fan.

Barrera would always have Hamed's number, I do believe it would be slightly more competitive if Hamed wanted to create a great legacy...but that's all 'ifs' and 'buts'.

    The second post is delusional.

People have been deluding themselves for years, A. They seem to think that prior to MAB, Hamed was an infallible, elusive, power punching, unbeatable machine. Just not true.

Yeah I agree, I actually believed all of that when I was naive, I used to only follow Hamed when I was younger...and not boxing. The bouts leading upto the Barrera bout showed that 75% of the above was not true (the guy did hit hard :D)...his first loss was coming, and I knew that straight after the Sanchez victory.

I've actually seen very few people overrate Hamed on here...maybe I just miss it. The one time I did see it though, someone claimed Hamed was a Top 100 ATG...when I pointed out that he wasn't, the poster retracted the post.

I knew he was gonna get beat by MAB if he was performing as he had been.

The second post is not delusional, its a valid opinion.

Naz was capable of beating any of them on his day, and on their day they could beat him.

He gets so much **** and so underrated on here that i maybe over egg it a bit but thats because there are so many idiots on here that sput rubbish about him (mainly because he is British btw) as you can see by 26 voting Gamboa by stoppage... i mean really? :nut
