Fact is if you come back to mayweather regarding the fight on US domestic soil, he won't be asking for no 100million.

The 100 million reflects two things, floyd feels that is what he is worth INTERNATIONALLY or he has no intention of fighting in South Africa.

Now back to the economics equation. When a third party comes in from overseas and wants your services you automatically over price yourself.

Take Amy Winehouse for example, solid UK artist, has a number of gigs in england, good pay, suddenly a third party from russia comes in ask her to sing at an event. Her agreed upon fee 1 million pounds.

A couple months later a third party from dubai comes in ask amy to do 5 gigs over in dubai, the agreed upon fee 5million pounds.

Amy has made more money in these last two examples than she has done domestically in the UK through albums, UK tours e.t.c.

Internationally it's a whole different ball game.
