It's irrelevant how good or bad Pascal is (even though he is ****) the bottom line is that if he is requesting the testing and it's administered equally, there is no reason that Hopkins wouldn't take the tests and move on. The only reason this is a big deal is because guys make it a big deal, take the tests and it would be a footnote of the overall story. By refusing and getting all butthurt about it simply makes it THE story when it shouldn't be. Take the tests BHop, especially if there's nothing to hide, what's the problem?

If this was so important to him, maybe Pascal should have brought this up before signing to fight, or decided to take on Dawson for peanuts instead. Hopkins has absolutely no obligation to take a test at this point in time and is going to get paid and face Pascal in the ring no matter what. I also have no idea who "the fans" that are demanding Hopkins to take a drug test are supposed to be. The only people I've seen consistently bringing up the subject are Pacquiao fans who are mad at the suspicion placed on their favorite fighter and want to drag the name of someone else through the mud.

it looks like hopkins has got to pascal more than i thought. pascal asking for a blood test shows he has little confidence. this will just add more fuel to bernards fire. when people question him, hopkins doesn't like it in the slightest. especially implying that he might be on something. pascal needs to watch himself here. pissing hopkins off isn't the smartest thing to do. with his little outburst, he's pushed bernards buttons. the wrong ones. get ready for a vintage hopkins display. he's not going to let pascal get away with this one. hopkins by late stoppage or wide UD.
I think it's at least a possibility that this 45 year old man COULD be using, that's not to say he is, but I think it's nieve to simply assume he's not. It's at a minimum worthy of testing. That said, he's till far better than Pascal, and with or without PED's he's going to beat his ass in the rematch.
