Why japaneses boxers dont come to US?

no its not mma is near dead in japan due to yakuza corruption hence why their fighters are going to the ufc

To be honest Rudy Hernandez has about 4 fighters from Japan training in LA and they come over to spar better talent.

 

coming to America didn't work out too well for Chris John. not Japanese but my point stands.

 

Would be cool to see some of these guys come over to the states at least for a couple fights to try and get some cross-over appeal but why take a pay cut and fight in front of a partially filled las vegas venue when you can pack the house in Japan and rake in serious cash?


Still wanna see Hasegawa or Nishioka come over here though. If they did put on some entertaining performances they could become even more popular both abroad and at home as well.

 

Pride was and always be the golden age of mma. Freakin yakuzas messed it up. Now that ufc locked down mma, the athletes will never get the money they deserve like boxers. Shame on all the big name mma guys for not supporting Elite xc and strikeforce. Fedor was the only one who tried to make a difference. He could have made more money in ufc but went elsewhere to hopefully have a competing company. People like tito ortiz could have helped but sold out to money. Dana white talked so much **** about him, yet he still came back like a helpless dog. Oh well, at least they don't have to deal with TR vs GBP

 

You're absolutely right bro. That's the reason why Filipinos . mexicans Latn boxers come to US for good pay fights. If their own countries pays them good why they still come here just to lose their belts.

japanese boxers stay in japan coz they have the ref, the judge and of course the crowd. Get past the 12 rounds and you get the win. Many asian fighters even die there coz theyre like being butchered in the ring
