Froch (-300) - - - Johnson (275) - Thoughts?

Wow those odds are way too wide.

Might have to put some money down on this. Johnson has given everyone hell at LHW. Frochs game used to be muscling people around and no way in hell he does that to Johnson. Now though after Abraham i can see Froch can actually outbox someone with those wings he has. I think if Froch wants he can do the same to Johnson. Probably not as one sided but Frochs arm span is huge and he can outbox Johnson similar to Abraham. IF he stands in the pocket and trades with Johnson then its a 50-50 fight. Definitely worth a bet with those odds.

Well obviously he is in his prime fighting a 40+ year old guy who is cutting to make 168. Froch should be the favorite and like i said this fight depends on how Froch fights it. He can outbox him or take his risk brawling with him. Johnson does do some mind games so maybe he fools him into fighting his fight.

 

I think the +500 on Abraham is much more appealing BUT I think neither Johnson or Abraham win.

 

I think im going to bet on abraham via ko straddled with ward via decision seems easy money, allthough im not aware of the odds but I think it will be enough.

The fight aint at LHW. Johnson is an old fighter, and has lost at SMW to far inferior fighters than Froch. He wont be able to live with Froch over the 12 rounds.

 

what is the over/under?

I think its practically a lock for it to go the distance.

 

I think Froch wins this one easy Johnson doesn't put anything on his punches anymore and Froch has a good Chin I think Froch batters him pretty bad. If anything Froch is underrated on here the guy will go anywhere to fight anyone he is not afraid to take a punch and he goes for the KO exciting fighter when his opponent isn't running from him the whole fight.

I just saw 1.73 odds on maidana via ko vs morales, that would be a 10/10 bet for me unforunately Ducth people cant bet with that bookie. they should consider themselves lucky.

 

Abraham has very little chance of beating Ward, Andre Ward at -600
is a steal by fight night he will be -1000 to -1500.

 

Froch being Johnson is not exactly a lock. Froch showed versatility in the Abraham fight, but he doesn't have the footwork or athleticism of Dawson to necessarily outbox Johnson. Johnson is going to make this a gritty fight and will make Froch fight HIS fight. This is without a doubt going to the cards and it will be a close tough fight to score.
