I saw where Chambers is saying he wants a rematch with Povetkin.

The World level HW's are busy with other fights this year.

Intercontinental level guys (Peter/Helenius/Adamek) are tied up.

What do you think about Chambers vs. Povetkin 2?

Povetkin seems to be on the downslide, Eddie seems to be on the rise.

    Thoughts?

    1. Adamek Is world level.

    2. Chambers toughened up, Povetkin pussied down, Eddie wins.

Since he's bitched out of fighting the K's he may as well go again with Chambers.

i rate chambers quite highly, his wins over brock, peter and dmitrenko are testament to a deserved top 10 ranking.

his performance vs a prime povetkin leaves anyone with no doubt he has the tools to beat him.

were it not for the brothers and haye, i'd rate chambers as the best heavyweight in the world. i did used to rate solis above everyone but since the first round kayo, it'd be foolish to do so.

    Agreed. However,

1.) Adamek holds the Intercontinental champion, so I listed him at that level.

2.) Adamek hasn't fought for or won a World HW title...yet. :thumbsup

Adamek is clearly world level, he'll be fighting for a title come September, he doesn't deserve to be lowered to the Helenius/Peter category.

Chambers beats Povetkin by decision, Povetkin looks like he's regressing.

It's still pretty asinine to put him in that group when he's clearly above it.

Povetkin's career has stalled since the first fight, facing mediocre competition and not fighting anywhere near enough. Chambers on the other hand has progressed, getting his weight down and picking up the biggest win of his career. I don't think the loss to Wlad is very significant as he didn't really do any worse than any of the other recent Wlad opponents. He just proved he's not on their level but neither is Povetkin and I'd favour Chambers in a rematch.

Its asinine to say that the Intercontinental Champion is on an Intercontinental level?

    OK. :patsch

povetkin was a pretty good prospect before the chambers fight.

even with the win, everything was on the downslide since...

hope there's still time to bounce back
