stamina can be improved with drugs as well, he had better stamina then he did vs Jones. I like b-hop and he is clean in my opinion but you guys shouldnt be crying that this double edged sword gets used on your brother b-hop as well. It will continue to get brought up whenever a fighter performs well, gl with that.
The possibily of Bhop juicing has been suggested on here at least a dozen times and I've have had casual conversations at my gym and his name always seems to come up when juicing is discussed. Anyway, it's pro sports and performance enhancing drugs are everywhere. Spend a month in a boxing gym and make a few friends and you'll quickly learn how common they are. I am not accusing anyone of anything but the appalled reaction from posters whenever a boxer they like is accused of juicing leads me to believe that they are not members of a gym. Even regular gyms have guys pushing PEDs like they are vitamins. :deal
I agree with you. But when Pascal asked him "Are you willing to take the test?", why didn't Hopkins say "Yes". Then it would've all been over and everybody would applaud both guys for putting the good exemple and making their part to clean the sport. I find it funny that when Mayweather asks Pacquiao to take the test and he refuses, people say Pacquiao is a cheater. Then Pascal asks Hopkins to take the test, and people say Pascal is an *******, a coward and is disrespectful. I'm still trying to see the logic in that.
But I did. That's no way to promote the fight! Frenchie canadian sayin that Hopkins must be on roids to have outlasted and stretched him down to the last minute. He's not promoting, he's absolutely destroying the fight by putting suspicion on his opponent. His opponent, Nard that is, didn't fight that intense, he just schooled him like he oughta... If it wasn't for his crazy gymrat attitude, he would've been a light heavyweight instead of a MW. I do agree with what you've said. Agreed. Everytime you count Hopkins out, he performs well. Anytime he's expected to win, he does okay if he wins and good enough to keep it close if he loses. Also, what happened to giving credit when it is due? Yes there's more PED users than we think but we shouldn't start accusing everyone who does well of being one. I wouldn't be surprised.
I agree, Hopkins cause his own mess. One yes, and we say Hopkins is a hero. Now, he has to deal with that.
If Pascal thinks he clearly beat him before and is confident of doing so again, then why ask for a drug test? He's scared that Hopkins is going to beat him the next go round so he's demanding a drug test, seeing if Hopkins will succumb or not. It's also rude when you ask a fighter to take a drug test, when you have never asked another fighter to do so. Only reason Mayweather got Mosley to take drug tests is because he was demanding Pacquiao to and didn't want to look like a hypocrite. Hopkins is getting old as **** and is still a beast, so Pascal must think he's on drugs.
Pascal already signed the contract. No matter what Hopkins says about the drug testing, Pascal will fight him. How can you say Pascal is scared when he already agreed to fight? You can say what you want about Pascal, but he has never turned a challenge down. Went to England when he was still green to fight Froch. Went up in weight and grabbed a title, then fights Dawson and Hopkins, the 2 best LHW out there, in three (and probably four if he beats Hopkins in May) consecutive fights. I agree it's kinda disrespectful but hey, it's boxing. Pascal is not there to spare Hopkins' feelings.
They are all juiced up (top athletes) if you ask me. At top level, it's the same in every sport and boxing doesn't make exception to that. Possible that B-Hop doesn't use PED and since Hopkins doesn't have the usual juiced up shape, he pass under the radar if it's the case since that for the fans, you got a look like a bodybuilder to be on something....thing that is NOT true. As for Pascal, he is probably on something too..a shoulder doesn't dislocate like that from his socket. Don't forget that when you're juiced up, the muscles and tendons become too strong for your articulation and at some point, it tends to dislocate. Look what happened to Pascal with trees at the place of his arms I'm sure this is the real story. I'm from Quebec and I'm a fan of both Hopkins and Pascal and I'd be dillusional to think that most top fighters are clean. The system has been build up so you can by-pass it and I've personally accepted a while ago. The same when I watch the Olympics, I just want to see a performance and don't want to think about it. When one get caught, we point at him...this is pure hypocrisy IMO since we want to see new records, new standards. What will happened when if we don't see something new or better?...I think that some fans would stop sports since they will think that the "era" athletes sucks ( in a prefectly clean world). I ain't saying it's good, but cheaters are everywhere and doesn't get caught easily when the system is EASY to by-pass.
