He was promised a position at the broncos...when he didn't get it he left He moved Trent Barrett from 5/8 to the no 7....that says it all :deal Mundine also left the sport entering his prime....if he didnt go to boxing 11 years ago he would have kept playing in the NRL for at least another 8 seasons....who knows what he could have achieved He was also the highest paid player when he left

I grew up on that team. As a tyke I was taken to 90% of their home games starting in '81 at Cumberland and then Belmore for 82-83. I never saw them lose live in all that time. LOved all the players but for some reason in that team of superstars had a soft spot for fullback Paul Taylor. Price was a legend, not only a tough as nails guy but lots of skill and a decent amount of pace too.
