I have doubts this fight or any Mayweather fight happens anytime soon. If this one happens its a bad fight and I hope its on ppv, which I would skip, so HBO doesn't waste a large chunck of their budget on this. If this fight does happen and serves as a tune-up for a Mayweather-Pacquaio match then I don't see any problem with it. I don't like the fight but if this has to happen to make the Pac fight happen then it all works out in the end. If Mayweather takes this fight and then disappears for another year or so without facing Pac then this fight is just a sad fight for what should be the best fighter in the game.

Why is it that PBF is immediately given the benefit of the doubt with this potential opponent as being a tune up for Pac, but Pac gets criticised for his opponents even though he's at least staying active, as opposed to continually retiring? This fight would be a great tuneup and a good win when Floyd was actually a lightweight and Spadafora was active and in his prime few years ago.
Mosley didnt have a tune up for a much longer lay off going against Floyd. i wonder how his boys rate Floyds win on Mosleys considering Mosley inactivity :roll:
