Look at Salita. A bum who gained a ranking and a title shot by carefull matchmaking.

 What a confused child you are.

My "whole argument and opinion" was that Thornberry's recent run of opponents had records which were so bad that it was an ATG disgrace he got a title shot.

:huh What could prove that Thornberry's recent run of opponents had records which were so bad that it was an ATG disgrace he got a title shot?

Hmmm... perhaps I could quote the records of Thornberry's recent run of opponents???

And yet again, we arrive at the same conclusion:

That I used boxrec correctly and had a sound basis for a thread highlighting how bad Thornberry's run of opponents that led to a title shot were.

Oh yes. By all means, keep trying though. :smoke

i've never started a thread. so even if this abortion of a thread was the best you've ever done...you would still be right.

there are however other thornberry threads...surely a responsible poster who wasn't just trolling would simply have dug one of those up rather than clogging up the forum with a shitty troll threads.

but not "the might popkins"

& why is it more of a disgrace that the no.1 ranked wbo contender got a title shot; than the no.15 ibf contender being hand-picked by the champion after a period of inactiviity?

you made a whole thread based on nothing other than what you read on boxrec. if you're cool with that; what are we arguing about?

i believe i already said this ages ago...oh...i did...so why are you being such a huge defensive baby?

    The Hypocrite Rides Again...

This sounds like an opinion on Richard Frazier as a fighter, based solely on getting his record before he fought Jones off boxrec yes?

:smoke Too easy man, too easy.

:patsch Why am I not surprised??

A troll who loves acting all high and mighty about how long he has been a fan and how he knew Richard Frazier inside out before he fought Roy Jones :)oops:), doesn't actually have the balls or the brains to start threads, he just likes to go round and ***** on the threads of others.

I really am not surprised. Yet more General Forum pond life to contend with! :good

i'd rather never have started a thread than started a million troll threads based on nothing more than what i learned while going through fighters records on boxrec. nerd.

And why are you being such a disgraceful hypocrite?! :patsch

If I want to make a thread on the stats of a fighter's opponents, then why wouldn't I.... use the stats of a fighter's opponents? :patsch

If I want to use the stats of a fighter's opponents, and unlike you I don't walk around with The Big Book Of Rick Thornberry in my back pocket, then why wouldn't I use boxrec to get the statistics I require? :patsch

I think you know you have failed with this one. Fair do's for having a go though. :smoke

You needed a stat, so you looked on boxrec and got the stat you needed...

    You boxrec warrior!

You disgraceful, evil, hate-filled boxrec warrior!!

How dare you write that Frazier's record was "18-3-1" when you haven't seen all 22 of those fights and how dare you make a comment based on his record when you don't know every last detail about every one of those 22 opponents!

    Boxrec warrior!

    Boxrec Warrior!!

    BOXREC WARRIOR!!!!!!! :admin:oops::oops::oops:

I'd rather have started threads than crawl around the General Forum like a rat, trying to **** on the threads of others when I don't even have the balls or the brains to make my own threads. *****. :smoke

    a) i didn't get that stat off boxrec.

    b) i have repeatedly said that it is ok to check stats on boxrec...& it only becomes an issue if ALL you know about these boxers is what you have read on boxrec.

but...you keep on pretending that i said things i didn't say. that makes you clever. & it is the only way you can win this argument. :deal

Going to make a judgement on Richard Frazier's career and make a judgement on Richard Frazier as a fighter?

it's not about checking stats. it's about you knowing **** all else about any of these fighters other than what you got off boxrec.

but again...if you're cool with that: :thumbsup
