Mayweather vs Spadafora in July!!! WTF!!!

whoever he fights he'll announce it before the Pacquiao fight so he can tie himself into a contract to "duck" Pacquiao, kinda like how he announced Marquez the day before Pacquiao fought when if he would have just waited 1 day he could have negotiated with Pac.

Mayweather isn't fighting Spadafora.

 

Listen dumb dumbs, if this fight gets made I have no problem with it because its a warm up fight. Spaddy is no bum and never been beaten and has won several fights in comeback against opponents with winning records. I'm glad to see Floyd back in the ring.

 

A warm up fight for what, for a Pac fight? How do you know he will fight Pac afterwards? How do you know he won't retire again afterwards?

You'd be better serve to just admit that it doesn't matter who or when Floyd fights, you're just glad to see him in the ring. He can fight Spaddy twice a year for the next 5 yrs and you'd be cool with that.

Floyd would be better off fighting someone like Berto so he can stay one step ahead of Pac even if he's trying to duck Pac.

 

If Spadafora is still a good fighter right now, then Mosley is still a top pound for pound fighter. In the context of the welterweight division, he is a bum, until he proves he;s not by beating any decent welters. He's washed up, done nothing for 8 years since he was a lightweight. This is the softest fight Floyd could pick. And it's not a tune up or warm up unless Floyd signs to fight a top opponent before it. This would be like Pac fighting Zahir Raheem today. It's a joke.

But if they decided to break with precedent an d report a piece of factual information then this is an absolute dud of a fight. Why not fight Collazo? Much higher standard of 147 southpaw fighter than Spaffy.

 

I think it's more of what Mayweather seems to do before announcing a bout now. Get everyone pissed off by throwing a name out that doesn't deserve to share a ring with him, e.g. Matthew Hatton (whether it's out of his mouth or not)...then when people don't expect it, announce a decent bout.

The fact that potential names are being thrown about (**** or not)...shows that he could be back in the ring soon, which is only a good thing...and puts a potential Pacquiao bout back on the cards...hopefully.

 

**** fight...but, if it leads to the fight we want to see...so be it. It is not much worse than Pac v Mosley, at this point. It's probably a true tuneup though, as Floyd couldn't expect to make anywhere near what he has been making. Nobody knows Spadafora.
