I have seen Thornberry fight you mongtard, I saw his fight with Joe Calzaghe. :patsch

I then looked up the guys' record, and saw his last 6 fights before he got that title shot. :patsch

Hence the reason I can't believe the guy got a shot. I still think it must be the worst pre-title shot run of fights in history.

You still don't understand that, do you? ****ing imbecile. :patsch

    "mongtard"? :patsch

we're gonna have to take you to insult school.

he got a shot based not on those fights but on his wbo ranking after he held a minor wbo trinket...what is so hard to understand?

& why does a fighters record only matter for a certain number of fights before a certain fight?

    are you autistic?

agreed. how does putting those records on here make the guy a 'boxrec warrior'? any1 who isnt a ****ing twat can see that thornberry shouldnt have got a shot after beating those guys. is it wrong to mention the records in case u r a 'boxrec warrior'?

You posted a whole huge list of shitty points that have been getting refuted for pages and pages.

You don't see it because you're an angry moron who is letting his emotions get the better of him...

You respond by stealing the ancient rotten jokes spouted by a well-known troll joke?

Yup, you are unquestionably the troll!

I remember Ricky Thornberry, decent tough scrapper from QLD, Oz. And I remember reading he was fighting Joe and taking interest in that fight. He was nothing if not resilient against Joe. There have been much worse fighters fight for a title, but if that was his record leading up to it, how the hell was he given a shot?

never said it was wrong to "mention records". quite the opposite if you look through the thread.

just if you know **** all about a boxer other than what you read on boxrec...& you go on & on about them being the "WORST challenger for a world title in HISTORY" based solely on what you read on boxrec...& not even their whole career...but just certain fights...then yeah...you're being a boxrec warrior.

:patsch You don't think that the last 6 fights and the last TWO YEARS before a fighter gets a title shot might have any significance to their status as a challenger???

Honestly man, you're ****ing losing it here :nut:nut:nut, your points don't even make sense anymore.

"Why would the last TWO YEARS and the last 6 fights matter when it comes to someone getting a title shot?"

I seriously think you have flipped your lid, you ****ing psycho! :fire:fire:fire

    angry?

look at all the insults you've thrown my way.

as for the well known troll...i don't know him or anything about him. he said some stuff i agreed with about you...so i agreed with him. why is that a problem? is it cos you're clutching at straws.

as for the points you're ducking; fair enough...a ducker like you can't be expected to deal with them all at once: let's start with an easy one:

1: what makes the ibf no.15 handpicked for an easy fight after a period of inactivity worse than the wbo no.1 & a mandatory challenger who had been keeping busy fighting bums waiting for his title shot after attaining his ranking?

Exactly my point. Some fanatics find that question far too difficult to deal with though, judging by this thread. :nut

no...you don't lose a ranking if you don't lose...i don't like it...but there you go...he played the system but those fights would only have mattered to his ranking if he lost...he achieved his ranking & sat on it waiting for his title fight...thats the way the wbo rolls...
