I'm 23. Followed boxing since the bruno-mccall fight. Became a hardcore fan round about the floyd/oscar, spinks/taylor, mab/marquez fights.

.....okay..finally got up the nerve to post......i'm 79 and will turn 80 in may.

i remember both joe louis/max schmeling fights sitting next to my grandfather listening to the radio. saw the films with him in the theatre. listened to most of the joe louis fights.....but started following boxing seriously in 1945. favorite fighter was ezzard charles...and he's still my all-time favorite.

 

Wow, that's impressive.


I'm 48 myself, started watching boxing when the fab 4 were in their hayday.

Of course I also remember the world stopping when Ali and Frazier and Ali-Foreman fought. back then they were world events televised on T.V.
