Mikkel Kessler vs Lucian Bute/ predictions

I find it hard to believe Kessler would display speed of Old Kessler. The magic 1-2's coming at Mach 2 aren't in the arsenal anymore. Kessler now has to choose his shots more carefully, I know you think he's gonna clearly edge Bute in volume, but I don't see the difference being that dramatic. It's in terms of damage/punch, that I see Bute hurting Kessler. Then again, the rights 2006 Kessler could LAND were thunderous. But this is out of the equation now, unfortunately for Mikkel.

Because of Canadian & American PPV ratings for this time zone (EST). It's Showtime's fight after all. I predict MSG in Sep/Oct, only because people from Quebec can still make it there by road, and because NYC is mostly a neutral venue. If the S6 finale was to be on the same card, man what a night.

kessler will stop bute late in the fight...... he is just to hard a man fore bute...... to powerfull.....he will block bute body punches and hit bute whit 1-2 ...... and after 6-7 rounds he start to put real power in his right hand.... dont forget ...... calzaghe said afterthe fight whit kessler..... that kessler was the hardest puncher he ever fight....
and froch said it to.......
kessler mayby damage goods ore not....... but he can still punch like hell....

 

That's about what people, including me, thought would happen against Ward. It didn't happen. How will he block Bute's bodyshots? Kessler is a straight forward puncher, exactly what opens the way for Bute to put his shots. If Bute handled big punchers like Miranda, Berrio and Bika, what Kessler will bring to be able to score a KO?

How will he manage Bute's lateral movement? Kessler struggled against Froch and was pretty sloppy. If that version of Kessler show up against Bute, he doesn't finish the fight on his feet. I think we will see a better version and that the fight will make the distance.

You may be right but I don't see what you see happening. It seems to me too easy to be real.

-Kessler has indeed a better prime until now(has and not had) but both fighters have 31 so what`s the excuse for Kesler who just beat Froch?
-Bute being down once when was accidentally favours him not Kessler
-Kessler has to lose not being down and the rematch with Ward
-Kessler beating Froch and not being 100% leaves no excuse if is beaten by Bute(you contradict yourself again)

people always refer to the first andrade/bute fight. never the second, the one in witch he did not get carried away and slugged it out with andrade instead of boxing like he did the hole previous 11 rounds.. i believe he knocked him out in 4th whit a killer body blow, thats the one you all should refer to when comparing bute/andrade and kessler/Andrade. by does deductions Bute should destroy Kessler. regardless it will be a great fight.

 

Kessler isn't the same fighter he was about 3 years ago. Bute probably stops him

 

kessler is ready .. beliave it............ he alwas been a gentlemen..........
speaking nice about other oppunents and stuff....... but now he is hungry......like 6 years ago............ this will be one hell of a fight....
as i see it ..........kessler will out power bute........ he will attack bute all 3 min of every round...... and bute will be running fore his boxing life like froch did.. and i realy think that froch is one of the biggest puncher in the supermiddle.............
this presure just will be to much fore bute........and kesslers jab its almost like a straight punch........very fast and powerfull ....... this jab will be the key in this fight...... if this jab gets going....... i see a big win fore kessler.....

Kessler was supposed to begin to spar and the look (sorry for that one) if his eyes would be ok. Do you Kessler fans have some news about it?

 

He started sparring yesterday and he wrote about it on his facebook. Not much though. Only that he was about to have an organic meal so he would be ready for another session in the afternoon (or something along those lines).
